What a great place. I'm hard to please and stay in hotels a lot with work - the always seems to be something that ruins it like an uncomfortable bed, pillow, bad food, noisy place, room too hot or cold etc etc. However, the Park Hotel was a great find for a business trip. The food was excellent, the staff are great, the rooms are great, well decorated and the whole place just feels quality. Don't stay in a crappy travel Inn or one of those other horrible chains, for the same price get some really excellent value for your money sand stay here, it made a pleasure out of a business trip and I Ll be back next week. free wi fi too and no flaky connectivity. 10 out of 10!! The not thing not in it's favour is being in Preston, which is somewhere I wouldn't go to stay on holiday, but every time I go there I'll definitely be staying here.

The hotel was close to where we wanted to be. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The evening meal was well presented, and very enjoyable. The breakfasttable had a good selection of starters, coffee and tea was hot. The beakfast too had a good selection to chose from In a few words, we had an excellent stay. We would recommend anyone to stay. Peter Spademan.

When you take into account free Wi-Fi, an excellent included breakfast and free parking, this works out as a similar price to so-called budget hotels. Add in the excellence of the food (we had dinner once and nbreakfast twice - but this is our second stay here so we have previous experience too) and the friendliness of the staff and this is good value. Will come back here as first choice in Preston.

The staff are brilliant, the room and bathroom modern, clean and comfortable. I stayed in the new annexe but had breakfast in the main hotel. Food was good, well presented and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

A quiet hotel with an old world feel in the main building. I had a modern room in the adjacent annexe. Food was nice, if you are looking for a quiet place this it. Good breakfast.

First impression was of an excellent decor. I live in a Victorian property so can appreciate these qualities. I found everyone very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Despite being on my own I was given a double room. My breakfast was very good, well served and I felt I could have asked for anything else if I required it. Overnight all was quiet as is not always the case in some hotels. Bathroom was well stocked, as was the tea/coffee area. On departure I had some car problems, but I was helped out by staff. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My only reservation was in the bathroom. It was a bit small. If my late husband had been with me he would not have been able to sit on the toilet. Secondly there was a black mould up near the ceiling. Perhaps I should not have looked up!

the lady who greeted us in reception was "on the ball" so to speak - as I had booked the room on line, turned up to check in unannounced around 6-7pm and only needed to mention my name - booking instantly acknowledged / recalled, even the room type - twin. Also thought the shower was particluarly good The bathroom door actually hits the bath side panel as you open and close it!!! - so you have to open it slowly until it touches, then pull it firmly past - no good in any room sharing if you need the bathroom in the night. Opening the door normally would "bang" noticeably Also no restaurant details in the hotel room, even though we asked about the menu when booking in - we were told there was a "sample" menu in the room - there wasn't.

Our Room room was loveley, very relaxing, which was a blessing, I had come to Preston to intern my father at Preston cemetry, and to visit family. The staff were very warm and welcoming we would definitley stay again we would liked to have had dinner, but the restaurant was closed, We could understand why,,it didnt cause us a big problem, we would have been happy to spend the whole evening at the hotel it was so nice. We had a loveley time the 2 nights we stayed. However we felt a very very small dissapointment with the electric shower. we felt it could do with an upgrade the water flow was very small and slow.
