With good food and a friendly welcome, The Park Hotel is a short walk from Riversway and the university, and within a mile of the center of the city and train station. The hotel has a free parking lot and individually designed rooms with a DVD player, room service and tea/coffee. Superior room on ground floor - spotlessly clean, modern and quiet. Lovely shower room and BIG towels. Breakfast very good and lots of choice. Staff very friendly and always on call when needed. Chairs in dining room - padded leather, but getting rather old and padding sags so front edge of seat pressing into leg (if you haven't got long legs) made sitting there uncomfortable after a while. Chairs in bedroom lovely so please get some of those.

The staff friendly, Breakfasts excellent and good choices. Nothing was to much trouble and the staff did not mind us re-arranging the lounge. Rooms clean.

Thestaff were very friendly and helpful.The room was well presented with very good facilities and a comfy bed.The breakfast was superb,a good start for the day.I will be returning to The Park next time I am in Preston.

Nice atmosphere in the hotel, comfortable lounge and dining area, interesting pictures and paintings, lovely hot bath, tasty breakfast. Noise travels quite a bit in the extension-house.

Staff were really friendly and the hotel was exceptionally comfortable. Bar was nice and economically priced. Food was lovely and served quickly after ordering. The room was quiet with all facilities and gave a good nights sleep. It also had very easy access to my work location at Salwick. The Sky TV system was a bit slow to respond to the remote. However, that is not important compared with all the positive features!

The standard of the rooms were excellent and were decorated to high standard. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities you required from a hairdryer to a Iron. Would highly recommend this Hotel to my friends and family.

Friendly staff. Interior of the room was nice. The room was cold and we had little control of the heating - there are set times that it comes on. The room was most expensive in the hotel, yet it was located in a new extension which had a view of a tiny yard containing the hotel bins. A terrible view, which made it feel claustrophobic. Also the entrance to the room was right next to a toilet. These factors made it feel like a cheap room and poor value for money.
