Park Hotel  

This family run hotel is outstanding. After a long drive north, this hotel provided the perfect atmosphere in which to relax and recover. The hotel is situated just before Thurso bridge and has plenty of convenient parking. The location allows you to walk into Thurso in less than 10 minutes, parking within Thurso is limited. Our room was comfortable, well equiped and everything worked including the Wifi. The food is of excellent quality in both the bar and restaurant. The fish dishes are exceptionally good. The full Scottish breakfast is very satisfying and the haddock and poached egg is superb. My wife also found the continental breakfast to be very fresh and varied choice.

Staff were very friendly and.couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent.

Good food friendly staff

Bedroom was extremely comfortable with good storage space. Size was ideal for one but may have been slightly small for a couple. Bathroom was a very good size. Food was excellent and many locals eat there. Staff very friendly.

It was in walking distance of the town. It was wheelchair friendly. The breakfast and dining were lovely great food.

The food is excellent, the staff are brilliant.

No coffee or tea available in the bar after 9 pm and slightlynoisy plumbing in the en suite bathrooms during the night otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

We were very impressed by everything in the Park Hotel and it was the highlight of our five day tour of Northern Scotland. From the exterior , first impressions are certainly decieving as the rooms , the food and the staff hospitality was certainly exceptional. On arrival reception was welcoming , the rooms were spacious and clean. We decided also to eat dinner in house on the evening of arrival and itself was a great experience , including the 'desert trolly ' and good value also . Breakfast also was a great start to the day also . Thanks to all concerned.

First impresions dont do the hotel justice , a few flower boxes outside could help and the issue of the noisy floorboards upstairs is somewhat annoying .
