Park Hotel  

When we arrived the staff were really friendly and welcoming. It was a really cold day but our room was really cosy and warm and also the hotel served meals until 9pm.

Bar food is first class

Comfortable newly refurbished room. Huge bed. High quality toiletries. Ground coffee in room. Great bar food. fantastic breakfast. Very helpful staff. Standard of everything much better than we expected. Recommended

We liked the disabled facilities, although the back entrance to the hotel was not wheelchair freindly

There was nothing we disliked , except the back entrance to hotel , from a disabled person point of view the room was really nice and the bathroom facilities were excellent , we will certainly be back thankyou

The fact there was a very loud disco directly under our room.

Friendly Staff excellent food nothing was too much trouble. I travel to Thurso 2 to 3 times a year and will definately use this Hotel again.

It was in walking distance of the town. It was wheelchair friendly. The breakfast and dining were lovely great food.

The food is excellent, the staff are brilliant.

No coffee or tea available in the bar after 9 pm and slightlynoisy plumbing in the en suite bathrooms during the night otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

Very friendly and helpful staff, food very good. Ideal palce for for using as a base to tour the area. Near the small town centre, beach harbour and lovely river walks.

We were very impressed by everything in the Park Hotel and it was the highlight of our five day tour of Northern Scotland. From the exterior , first impressions are certainly decieving as the rooms , the food and the staff hospitality was certainly exceptional. On arrival reception was welcoming , the rooms were spacious and clean. We decided also to eat dinner in house on the evening of arrival and itself was a great experience , including the 'desert trolly ' and good value also . Breakfast also was a great start to the day also . Thanks to all concerned.

First impresions dont do the hotel justice , a few flower boxes outside could help and the issue of the noisy floorboards upstairs is somewhat annoying .

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Thurso all the staff were very nice and went out of their way to help. The room we had was large with a king size and single bed and was well equipped it even had an iron and an ironing board. Good choice for breakfast which was served piping hot. I read a review about the noisy nightclub - there is no nightclub attached to the hotel so no idea where that comment came from. Nice hotel, nice staff, good location I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again.

Rooms were comfortable, en-suite lovely. Tea & coffee facilities were provided. Hotel restaurant was lovely and food was good. Breakfast was very good. Waitress was very pleasant even though she seemed to be only one looking after all who were dining.

Restaurant menu was a bit on pricey side.
