The location is excellent. It therefore provides a good base from which you can explore all the major attractions in London quite easily. I was given a subterranean room, which I was not happy about. The room was very clean, but also very basic. The hotel tariff is very expensive for such primitive room facilities. |

This hotel was quite adequate for our short weekend stay in London. We had booked a tour of Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge and were picked up by a bus at the hotel. Very convenient for us. Our room had a black and white TV which worked for only about 15 minutes and then went out. Not very satisfying especially since I had my 13 year old son with me. |

Well I just spent two days at the hotel with my wife and we love our stay, then for a trip was very good. The breakfast is very good, is comfortable, clean and warm. It is near the Gloucester Road Station, Tesco Express and bars and restaurants, and minutes away from Hyde Park, Science and Natural History Museum and Kensington Palace. |

the location was terrific! hotel was clean, staff friendly and it was warm and comfortable..good value for money and staff were friendly, courteous and helpful..was perfect for our family trip to the science museum! decor is a bit dated..and breakfast was adequate but could be improved...no fresh fruit, cereals were cheap and (yogurts were lovely) and breads could have been nicer but this is nit-picking.. a notice in the baths that explains that H is really cold and C is warm water would be ..that was really confusing! |

Reception staff and porter were very friendly and helpful. Good location All a bit old. Uncomfortable bed.Not even complimentary water in room. Breakfast like a school canteen. Wi-fi had to be paid for and took time to register (this is pre-historic). Charactlerless. |

Great location in South Kensington, minutes on foot away from the Gloucester Road Tube station. Price/quality ratio is fair only if one takes the location into consideration. After reading reviews on this site, I was slightly disappointed by the breakfast: it was not bad, but certainly not `exceptionally good' either. |

Convenient location (200 m to nearest tube station). Room small but cosy. Reception nice and helpful. Perfect for a short business trip with excelent communication links to anywhere you might need. As cancellation of reservation is not possible in this hotel - think twice before you book! |

location and value for money. i dont like that small bedrooms down in the basement.,you should mail your guests and inform them about floor position they booked in advance, since it is quite difeerent experince to sleep on 3rd floor overlooking lovely street or sleeping down in basement surrounded with 4 walls. |
