Just opposite the Queen's College playing fields and a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre, the Falcon B&B is within 2 late-Victorian town houses and offers views of the college boathouses.

Great breakfast freshly cooked to order, good choice, nothing was too much trouble ! On arrival great advice on getting into Oxford (15 min walk or 5 mins on bus at end of the road)and local eateries and pubs a 5 min walk away. Spotlessly clean .
Nothing to dislike !
The facilities were lovely and comfy, the breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly, great value for money!
Made really welcome on arrival. Good comfortable bed and a Good choice for breakfast in the morning plus really friendly staff.
The staff were very nice .The bed was comfortable and the room clean.....but
A very long way from the City Centre. No amenities close by,unless you take a bus, 4/5 stops away. Rooms are small and way up high, and no lift to get you there. Breakfast is basic and doesn't have any atmosphere. They should play some soft music.I can't rate it 4 star as it isn't ,but I can give it 2.5 .
This was my second visit. Parklands is comfortable, well appointed and there was a high standard of catering and cleanliness throughout. The staff was friendly without being intrusive, very accommodating and at all times helpful and courteous.
Loved.... the room (32), cleanliness, staff, warmth, fluffy towels, decor, fab breakfast, near bus stop only a short distance from the centre.
Single glazed window in room did keep us awake with traffic noise. Pillows too high (but this only a personal minus)
Very helpful and friendly welcome. Comfortable room. Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
Friendly staff who are always helpful. Excellent breakfast with a good selection to choose from. The hotel is approx 15 minute walk to the center of Oxford. The bus stop is just around the corner if required with a frequent service.
the hotel location to John Ratcliff Hospital was good
the room was too warm
I stayed here with my daughter in a twin room. The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfast.Free parking was a bonus. Altogether a great experience. I would go back.
Nothing at all!
Television channels not working apart from bbc1, Requested to be fixed, returned 2hours later to same problem with tv,shame as good location, receptive staff when we arrived..
Excellent location with friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate room and excellent breakfast. This was a return visit and it was re-assuring to know what I'd be getting!
Very nice breakfast. Staff in the morning is also nice. Room is clean and comfortable.
The staff from the arriving night is not very welcoming. There is in fact a bus from train station to the hotel but when I call the hotel for instruction, I got nothing. No lift. Not suitable for traveler with big suitcase
I liked the welcome and helpful information given by the staff member who also showed me to my room, explaining things on the way. Breakfast is good, the waitress very helpful and agreeable.
There is free parking but it is a bit limited. If you're in a big car, as I was, then it can be a bit tight when manouvering. Smaller vehicles should be fine.
Our room was very spacious with a huge bed that was so comfy i didn't want to get out of it! Breakfast was delicious - a good choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries - with hot breakfasts bought fresh to the tables & made any way you liked. Quiet location (although a bit of a walk from the centre) Friendly, helpful staff
Nothing that would stop me coming again. The perfume/incense sticks in the room & throughout the hotel was a little overpowering. We had to put ours in the bathroom to get rid of the smell.
*Breakfast *Warm and friendly *On site car parking *Free Wi-Fi *Walking distance to City *Located on main city bus line
The standard double room is really, really, really small and the bathroom is really, really, really small has no heating or power points.
location, bed, cleanliness and facilities
walk was a bit far from the city centre
Location good. Only 20 minutes walk to centre. Very clean and comfortable and good value for money.
Breakfast was good but mix up with order meant my partner had eaten theirs before my breakfast arrived about 15 minutes later. Could hear conversations between waitress, chef and owner from kitchen which was not very professional as there was obviously a problem with other orders also.
It's the 2nd time I have stopped here, the 2nd time, the place has changed quite a bit but still a lovely place, modern features with still being surrounded by an old beautiful property. Very happy again. Would def look to stop here again when I'm next in Oxford. I prob wouldn't consider anything else and def not one for lining the pockets of the big chain hotels/b@b's. Overalls it's a 9.5 out of 10 for me. Very happy!
We were facing the main road of which you could hear the traffic a little, even on the 3rd floor. With the style of the property you couldn't really change this much.
Good quality and well thought out accomodation. Spacious room, very clean and comfortable modern decor but sympathetic to older building style. Ample off road parking which is a major plus factor in this area of Oxford. Hosts were very down to earth and informative. On the whole a very well run and pleasent establishment. 10 out of 10
Good location and breakfast. Kind staff.
Friendly atmosphere, clean stylish environment and furnishings excellent breakfast
for a leisure break a late check out and beakfast would have been preferable
There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. Handy for the city and the hotel itself was wonderful. The bedding was fabulous and the bed so comfortable that we could have been tempted to stay there and miss breakfast, but that would have been a mistake because breakfast was brilliant and served superbly. Very easy check in and out. Highly recommended.
Location and good breakfast
Narrow staircase make moving with big luggage difficult
