The vicinity -- central London area.
rooms are poorly maintained, carpet & furniture looks dirty. For the price paid, it is really disappointing.
That hotel is well located. The staff was very kind and very helpful. The breakfast was nice and the rooms was comfortable and calm.
The room was not perfectly clean.
Rooms very small
Comfortable , reasonably priced hotel in a great , probably best location. Good service - all round good deal .
The carpet in our room was a disgrace - stained , really old & dirty - it should have been replaced years ago. It spoiled what was otherwise a great experience all round.
Great location. Small hotel and friendly staff. The front of house staff were very helpful and warm and housekeeping were attentive. Good toiletries products. l
There is slightly jaded feel to the decor but as I understand it refurbishment is taking place. A certain amount of upgrading is perhaps necessary but otherwise it is a very nice hotel.
Terrible hotel, NOT 4* more like 2* Room service, cash on delivery, for a sandwich bought round the corner shop Not worth the money
I asked for a quiet room and got one outside the lift. I asked to be moved and got one above a skip, with building work at 7 a. Everything was shappy. The paintwork was chipped or stained and it was squalid.
The first impression was pretty to look at - with the building all lit up. ( hope that's not only for Xmas) On entering reception - warm and cosy. That's how I felt on going to room and entering. Very nice. Thank you.
I didn't like the directions. Automatically you think that it's just off Stanhope gate - as I was on foot from Park lane I thought I could find it straight away. !!!!!! I suppose a taxi is the answer. I could hear people outside chatting, on and off all night. It was probably the night staff taking a break. I personaly didn't mind.
The location and ambience of the hotel were excellent. The staff were all most helpful, attentive and polite. We were on a very reasonable rate so did not expect a superior room.
Our room was very comfortable but very 'tired'. The carpet was old and stained and the room badly in need of re-decoration, as was the corridor outside our room.
Very pleasant hotel in a great location and good value for the location
Unusual to pay in advance but I guess it ensures that guests pay before they leave
Brilliant location, big room
The reception area and lounge area
The room was sad. Radiator didn't work so oiled filled one was left instead - not informed of this.
It said what it did on the tin.
Felt just a little tired.
staff friendly and helpful
Having booked two weeks previously, and confirmed my arrival time twice during the day, I arrived to find that they had no room for me! Altogether a second rate spot, badly in need of refurbishment. The rooms are also very small.
quaintness of the hotel /helpfllness and friendliness of the staff a jewel of a find !
Excellent location in Mayfair district of London which was close to Royal Institution where we were attending a conference. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was quiet at night.Extremely good value in a very expensive area of London. Breakfast very good.
Great location when attending functions at Park Lane hotels
The single rooms are quite small, but good value nonetheless
Friendly staff Coffee at the room. Close to good restaurants, Hyde Park and underground. Wifi worked very well in our room (room 409)
AC didn´t work, we had to change room. Expensive Breakfast 12 GBP /person, not an opption for us. Not a 4 star hotel compare to the ones in Sweden but be aware the standard is much lower in GB generally and London is an expensive City.
Bed was lovely and comfortable, pillows were lovely.
Disappointed to find a 'delux' room was so small. The bathroom was also very small. I am curious to see how much smaller a standard room is.
this hotel is in a good location, the staff were very pleasant and helpful when checking in, we used the bar and lounge area which was fine, our rooms were clean everything worked, you had a bathrobe in the wardrobe and a good size and quality towel in the bathroom, for what we paid for our rooms, no complaints at all, we dined around the corner in Sheppard's market, which has lots of pubs and restaurants you can walk to.
Well, nothing really, our rooms were a little small, and you can see the hotel needs some attention in area's, but, this didn't bother us, you get what you pay for, so, overall we felt is was good value for money
Great location Friendly staff Cozy feel
Tired look to some of the room furniture Breakfast choice on display
I loved the location
Wallpaper off the walls by the lift on fifth floor, bedroom walls need a paint, bathrooms need updating. It's starting to look a bit tired upstairs
