Large bed. Room rather cramped with dated decor. Reception area smelled of curry. No iron. Cracked sink and chipped bath. Electrical socket fittings loose, one did not work.

Location and comfort It's a bit shabby. When it was a Hilton I stayed there for sveeral weeks at a time but since it has changed hands the fabric of the building and rooms has deteriorated.

Staff so friendly and helpful . Excellently placed for West End and access to tubes, buses, taxis etc. Comfortable bed and bedding good quality and very clean - nice towels and bathroom accessories. Room decor very tired and tatty - needs a good refurbishment with less heavy furnishings and general paring down. Also very noisy right through the night on the Park Lane Hilton side - triple glazing and better air conditioning - it got very, very stuffy and opening window was a) too noisy and b) didn't make any difference.

The location and staff were the only positive aspects of this hotel This hotel does not live up to it's Star rating. The photoes/discriptions on the web bear very little resemblence to the actual situation.eg--a delux room where one had to step over the toilet to gain access to the shower!. If one is interested in an evening meal, you won't find it in this hotel.

Location and size of hotel Rooms were a bit small. Rooms could be a bit more fresh. They were a bit worn out. Staff in lobby not always scilled. Seemed to be trainees and time to time undermanned.

Excellent location for sightseeing. Not bad price for Mayfair hotels. Breakfast is not so good for that price(15pounds). Near to hotel you can find set of cafe with English breakfasts at the price from 4 to 11 pounds, much more better quality. Rooms not new, but pure. Cleaning passes daily, there were no problems with change of bed-clothes.

Location, location, location. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Extremely poor lighting in the room. Very difficult to find a comfortable place to read. No hair dryer or iron + board. All good hotels have hair dryers these days.

I liked the location - we were at a wedding at the Lansdowne Club easy walk. I loved Shepherd Market - never been before. The Hotel isn't really a 4 star, there are some areas that need updating but our room was great and it gave us exactly what we wanted a pleasant base to be in Mayfair at a fair price. We would stay again if we needed to be in that area of London. Couldn't fault the beds, tv, Bathroom at all. Staff were attentive and pleasant.
