Have a rough plan of what you want to see/do.

Have a rough plan of what you want to see/do. Walking and buses can be better than the tube. Don’t try and cram too much into your days - best to choose 1main event/sight in the day and 1 at night - don’t rush! Use a map to familiarise yourself with the location of one place in relation to another. Be vigilant if you’re looking at your phone. Stand away from crowds and kerbs to avoid phone snatchers. Pre-book popular places/restaurants to avoid disappointment. We visited an exhibition at Somerset House after spending a short time at Outernet on the way, ate in Seven Dials market (so much choice), mooched around Covent Garden then relaxed in the hotel before returning to Covent Garden to eat dinner at SushiSamba (delicious) and walking to the Gillian Lynne theatre to see Standing At the Sky’s Edge. On the Sunday we visited the Van Gogh Immersive exhibition and then explored Spitalfields market where we had lunch. Again lots of choice. We also called in to Eataly on Bishopsgate to but some Italian treats but really needed more time to browse properly. It was a busy weekend but we paced it well and weren’t exhausted!

London itself is brilliant, the tube was a nightmare and no staff to help when we needed to switch due to a signals problem meaning we had to walk up multiple stairs and back down just to get on an different tube to get to the same destination, also lots of crime, we witnessed a mugging a man on a bike mounted the pavement stole a phone out of a woman's hand and drove off nearly hitting other pedestrians, scary and nervous time walking around

Room is compact .. some would say too small perhaps, but for only 1 night it was perfectly fine. Room and bathroom was clean. Room was also perfectly quiet. Has a sweet little garden Although I did not have any, the breakfast looked nice but not many options. There are lots of options around this hotel for better breakfasts. Liverpool St is no more than 5 mins away and the new Elizabeth line means it's even more connected. If I need another stop over near the London office, will definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely, friendly guy greeted us on arrival, happily gave us advice on getting around London. Our twin room was spacious for London. Very clean throughout and comfortable beds. The tea and coffee facilities and fridge were a bonus too. We were very happy with everything for the price we paid - it was cheaper than most hotels we've stayed in and much nicer. The location was great too - just around the corner from Baker Street station with plenty of eating establishments a short walk away.

1st time in London, so I hope my ratings are fair. It was exactly as advertised. Updated apartments, but in an older building. Hotel style Front desk was plus and made check-in easy. Reasonable walk to South Kensington tube station, district line/circle/Piccadilly lines. Never felt unsafe walking morning or night. Grocery store next door, saved some money on breakfasts and snacks for touring.

Most I liked the breakfasts - what an exceptional menu and tastes. Not a buffet menu you usually see at hotels. Generally, a lovely small hotel in an authentic London building. If your not a fan of queeky floors, for example, it's not your place. I loved it because I felt like at home.
