Centralt beläget. Trevliga allmänna umgängesytor i en mångfald av färger som ändock på något sätt i slutändan harmoniserade med varandra. Slitet. Rummen betydligt sämre skick än vad som framgick på internet.Rummen mindre än vad som framgick av internet.Jag kan rekommendera hotellet till andra men då med förbehåll om dess slitenhet. |

Location. No service for guests, including: No porter. Small and old elevators. Small rooms. No minibar. Outdated in-room entertainment. Room service not answering their phone. |

Hotel has some flaws without a doubt. But the hotel staff (especially Martin) was very helpful and tried to solve every problem we had. Breakfast is very good. Location is excellent although the walk to the underground is a bit longer than expected. Nonetheless I recommend this hotel to city trippers like us. We were happy to be in London and having fun anyways, so the problems in the hotel didn't bother us that much. (And of course that's because they found a solution immediately.) But if I were in a business trip I would ask for more probably :) 1) Central heating was not working in the room. They put electrical radiator to the room and it solved the problem. However it was a tasteless solution for a 4 star hotel. 2) Bathroom was new and clean, refurbished obviously. But the bathtub plug was broken, we called the reception and they sent someone in just 5 minutes. 3) There was no bellboy. We carried our own luggages to/from our room. 4) So don't expect a flawless four star hotel. This is an old and ragged hotel. But the rooms and bathrooms are clean, renewed. Staff is helpful and smiling. |

Clean rooms although the bathroom would benefit from some updating. Rude receptionist. When asked for a pen to sign in it was thrown along the counter top. |

The hotel was in a good central location just off Park Lane. The room was clean and tidy, although small and the general hotel was a little rough around the edges. The hotel staff were difficult and at times obnoxious. The hotel was initially overbooked and they tried to relocate me and my colleague after a long journey and were very pushy in this negotiation. Various issues with the billing to the room on checking out. |

We had to be moved to another "sister" hotel which was adequate. On arrival at the hotel, I was told that there was no reservation for me or my family. This caused me embarrassment, inconvenience and considerable frustration. The staff finally agreed to arrange alternative accommodation, of a lesser quality, at their "sister" hotel. The whole experience was the worst I have had the misfortune to encounter and I will not be using this website again, nor the hotel that I had booked into. I am also alerting all coleagues and friends about this lamentable service in order that they will not be caught out and embarrassed as I was. Yours Sincerely, BG de la Haye OBE |

Location The staff weren't very friendly or helpful. Couldn't get hot water in the shower in the evening. Breakfast should be included in the price (the room is expensive enough). £14.95 for breakfast is far too much money. |

They did try to compensate for giving my paid room away by giving me breakfast and a good room finally but that could never make up for the inconvenience. Not sure I could trust them again if I needed my room early. They gave away my paid for booking. I booked in for night of 21 so that I could arrive early on 22 and have a room - to sleep and shower. The hotel was warned by my wife and booking.com. Yet they still gave it away as they were overbooked. I had to walk around while they prepared a room for me. Then they gave me one on top of the lift, despite a request not to be near one. |

On arrival, my party were told there was no room for us and we had to stay at Knightsbridge Green. This hotel was dreadful and we would definitely not rate this as a 4*. Very dissatisfied with the service from beginning to end |

I have stayed in this hotel many times and thought it was quaint and lovely. I wont stay there again, as I thouht it had dropped in its standards dramatically, the public areas are dirty and shabby, the room was very clean but squashed with no toiletries, no mini bar etc. no I wont stay there again.Sandra Turnbull |

the reception staff were just awful. ignorant and had no idea what was going on. one of them actually swore at a customer on the telephone when she had put down the receiver. |

Staff were friendly, location good for city break Advertised wifi in all rooms, very poor signal. Intermittant service. Useless. Tiolet wouldn't flush, advised reception at 4.45pm, I had to move rooms at midnight with no help or apology, Croissants were stale. |
