Friendliness and efficiency of all the staff. Room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast had an excellent all round choice of menu. We didn't have any complaints although the wedding cake on display looked very "tired" and wouldn't really do much to attract a prospective bride and groom.

Nothing was an effort for the staff. They were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and affordable. The only thing which let it down a little bit, was trying to get back in the hotel late at night. Were were stood at the front door pressing the bell for a while in the cold. Eventually, someone let us in via the fire escape on the bar area.

Room very clean & modern with Tea & Coffee tray. Freindly receptionist who upgraded me to a Double Room from a Twin. Large free car park with floodlights onto vehicles (very important in Liverpool!). 24 hour reception. Nice breakfast choice. Shower control was stuck on hot and the walls are so thin I could hear next door playing chess!!

Refurbished rooms are excellent. Reception staff helpful & friendly. Communal areas & lounge are in need of renovation. Car park security is always a concern.

Clean and spacious room, tea/ coffee facilities and trouser press. It was classed as an executive room, not sure what the difference is from the standard room. The entrance to the hotel is not clearly marked, it's on a side road which is very busy if you misss the entrance accidentally. Poor choice of tv channels and old fashioned tv, especially in an executive room.

This hotel is fine; showing its age in some area's, but otherwise its comfortable. Premier Inn is better but more expensive option. Only a brisk 20 minute walk from railway staion so access to city centre is good.

My partner and I did not enjoy our visit at the hotel. We found a certain member of staff rude and unpleasant. The cold water in the bathroom was not working and I had to use cold water from the sink when drawing a bath. For the money, it was most definitely NOT an enjoyable experience.

Reasonably priced. Room clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The 3 course dinner with wine was very good. There was an excellent chef in the kitchen. It is best to request a room that is not over the entertainment level as there is no sound proofing! T'V's need some maintenance.
