“ A warm welcome on arrival. Dining room is lovely and comfortable with friendly and helpful service. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Rooms were comfortable and clean and had everything you needed. Overall and excellent stay and would use again. ”

Very good value for money. Pleasant staff. The hotel does not look clean and tidy on entering. The carpets in reception were shabby and needed a good vacuum. The lift too looked very shabby. Room very dated.

staff very helpful,the hotel had a nice atmosphere. the meals were very good as well, two fish and chip dinners a tenner, great value, i will stay again when working in Liverpool .dave london

Most staff were very pleasant. Rooms were clean Could not get to sleep until 1am as there was a party in one of the function rooms & we could hear the music & the person on the mike. We did complain but there were no other rooms available. The night staff were rude & did not get the DJ to turn the music down despite a promise that they would.

The beds were terrible. I woke up with such pain in my back that I could not get up for half an hour. The bed was so uncomfortable that we elected to go straight home instead of staying the planned second night.

Staff, food, en suite 21st birthday party with VERY LOUD music until 02.00 hours in the morning and then drunken party goers slamming bedroom doors on all three floors until 03.00 hours. Not good for people who were staying there for comfort and sleep! Music should have been turned off at midnight.

Great location for Aintree. Good parking. Very friendly staff. Small but clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Over -priced but understand that is because of Grand National and was probably the going rate for that day for decent, convenient hotels..

The staff very friendly the chef makes a great breakfast ,waitress very kind and the room was spotless thanks to good workers The bed wasn't too comfortable needs new mattresses ,my tv was very dated and not good sound quality ,my hot water was too hot and the cold tap wasn't working so had to fill the kettle and pour cold water from the sink to the bath

Room was good nice and warm comfy bed tea and coffee in room and topped up everyday Hotels also seem to let themselves down on the shower !! and this was no exception it needed a new hose and shower head as the one which was there was falling apart ......

decent location for my needs, staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was of a good standard of cleanliness and comfort Close proximity to busy road, so it was quite noisy at times

Excellent staff and service and soundproof bathroom, pretty much so sharing with two friends was quite manageable. Quiet at night. Soap and shampoo containers less than half full. Couldn't reach hand and body wash unless I stood up in the bath. Tv didn't work.
