Although the picture show the rooms to be quirky, spacious and modern. They were renovated, but didn't appear to be as inviting as the pictures showed.
We booked an ordinary double room, which was particulary on the small side, which meant the bathroom was only a foot away from the bed. Which we were a little disappointed with, however the room and bed was more than comfortable for a night away.
The hotel in general needs some renovation in the main areas, as these seemed to be quite dated still, and were not as inviting as we hoped.
The property was kept to a clean and immaculate hygiene standard. The beds were comfortable, and clean, with the addition of the TV in the room to keep us occupied whilst we got ready, and in the morning.
We particulary enjoyed using the Leisure facilities, which were clean, peaceful and a nice addition to the property. Evidently the Spa was a key feature for us in a relaxing night away, and was a nice feature to the hotel.
There was always people occupying the Leisure facilities however there was plenty of space and a quiet peaceful atmosphere.
The lady on the leisure facilties reception was more than helpful, and and on hand should you need her. Her customer service skills were definitely excellent.
The check in staff was informative, helpful and on hand for any queries. She knew the area well and was a polite and friendly person which added to the hotel significantly.
