I could have taken my dogs but decided not to in the end.
Room was clean and great, bed was comfortable, spa facilities were heavenly (especially the hydrotherapy pool), taxi is 5 minutes to the High Street, loved it!
The iron in the room set on fire when turned on, checked the last time it was tested by it's safety label and had not been tested over 5 months, rang reception and a new iron was provided immediately, wasn't assured of any injuries and we do not know if the iron has been taken away. (Fixed to wall) This was the only issue!
Accomodated us in a suite as requested for our anniversary. Very happy with service
Able to use Leisure area before official check in time
Small, dark room; unable to control heating; very uncomfortable bed
Good WiFi speed, convenient location, good reception process
If you fancy hearing every bead squeak, every creak, every word, and the birds and the bees doing what they do best in the rooms next to you, then this hotel is for you. Sound insulation is non existent to the point where you WILL have a restless night - I know I did. Old, and hence dirty, carpets inside and outside of the bedrooms. £11 for a just about average breakfast is taking the Mickey - and I mean just below average. Business partner and I staid a single night, so if this is your inclination, and there are no better alternatives, then I guess you go with this hotel.
Location and staff were great.
Very thin walls, we could hear word for word clearly what the family in the next room were talking about. We couldn't and wouldn't have complained as they were only talking.
Room size (family room used by couple) Comfy bed
No lift for disabled Poor quality breakfast Very small bathroom bath slippery when using shower
narrow corridors.not suitable for Fpeople with walking problem No lift Food was rubbish sent my main course back twice before not paying for it.Breakfast was not worth the money
Single bed which was, squeaky, loud train noise during night. Questionable taste in carpet design...
room was clean but combact. the breakfast was good with plenty of choice from the men, the food was well cooked. The staff were very helpful and friendly. check in and out was good.
we were in room 127. we had a noise coming from outside untill 10.30 pm and started about 7 am,which may have something to do with the heating system. the menu in restaurant was very limited if you donot like cheese in the meal.breakfast was good.
Location - Price - Facilities - Staff - WiFi - Parking. The Parkmore is well located for touring Teesside and the Room only price is reasonable & good value. Excellent facilities, comfortable rooms/beds & friendly helpful Staff. WiFi is free & reliable and there is ample free on-site parking.
Choice for Continental Breakfast was extremely dissapointing & therefore expensive at £9/head - Full English was available at £11/head if required.
Not a lot, apart from car parking space
The bedroom didn't smell very nice when we walked in - it was very stale. We could hear the conversation and toilet usage next door (and I don't mean the plumbing!) day and night. The price was too high not to include breakfast. The kettle took so long to boil, we thought it wasn't working! Wouldn't go back, even if it was free.
Has the potential to be a great hotel just needs modernising. Nice staff and location
Everything about the décor, bed, furnishings, settee needs updating
Restaurant was excellent room was clean & well equipped, extra towels were delivered quickly on request. Friendly staff, Fantastic gym and spa
The mattress was very uncomfortable, I had to sleep on edge of bed to try to stop roll-in! Spa gym could do with some flat screen tv's (instead of the ancient portable tv that was hard to see & hear) with a variety of music, news & sports channels to watch while working out
Nice location. Comfy bed. Generally fine, but nothing exceptional.
Paper-thin bedroom walls. Incredibly slippy bathroom tiles.
Location was ideal close to our relatives
The whole hotel needs to be refurbished the dining area is dreadful and the springs are sticking our through the leather seats. The carpet was dirty. The choice of the continental breakfast was terrible so no choice but to opt for full English. My newspaper was not delivered the first morning and we could not get upgrade even though we are Best Western members the hotel was not full. So we will never stay there again.
Furnishings a bit tired. For the price, no air con, fridge or complimentary water.
Staff were helpful and accommodating to our room requests. Good nights sleep.
Breakfast was overpriced for what was available (£11)
Staff were good and very accommodating
Rooms very tired, poor quality beds and bedding, food in the bar and resturant was awful, corridors and rooms smell stale. Need I go on?
The Staff where excellent. But health club closed
We were very disappointed with the quality of the room for the price that was charged. Was expecting more standard for the price.
Standard of room and price that was charged.
Staff very helpful and friendly
Corridors needed painting
Hotel room was comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was a choice between full English and continental.. Good value.
Not many car parking slots at the front. I have a low sports car and struggled over the high speed bumps.
lovely staff very clean and lovely
although the facilities are fantastic all the decor needs updating, room wasnt as nice as have had previously.
Rooms very clean and well cooked breakfast, although not a great selection on the breakfast bar, cereals etc.
Room was outdated and not worth the price we paid. Could not use leisure facilities due to annual shut down which we were only aware of 2 days before arriving.
