The room was lovely and the food was great! The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of air fresheners around the hotel and in the room, I took the plug in out!

Staff seemed to be well trained and were friendly. Although I did not use the pool, had I remembered to bring a costume I would have. The breakfast was plentiful. The Saturday night we stayed there was a party downstairs and we were kept awake till 2am. Customers are told to keep quiet from 11pm but it seems parties are not so restricted and can continue the noise till early hours of the morning. At 10pm when getting in, there was no hot water available. The tv did not work, and we were told it was the weather, although we had been watching tv 1 mile further down the road only minutes earlier.

The Parkmore used to en excellent small hotel with atmosphere when it was independent some years ago. The bw ownership has moved it to a position of decline and dullness. Having said that, the staff were positive and helpful.

The room was nice and quiet and very cool at night I booked a double room for two people and I was put in a single with a three quater bed, half way through the evening the hotel discovered we were in the wrong room and we had to move. Even when we moved the room was only set up for one person, eg 1 x pillow, one 1 towel, one x pack of biscuits. The restaurant was closed for evening meal, this was very very disappointing as we booked that hotel for the excellent food in the restaurant so we had to go out to eat. We were told this was due to being short staffed. We could of eaten in the bar area but felt the seating and tables was not appropriate. We were given a restaurant menu then it was taken off us and we were told it was not available!

The hotel was generally comfortable, and I obtained a good bar meal for myself and an associate during the evening. Breakfast was very poor especially as regards quantity, one small rasher of bacon, etc. The leisure centre has a good range of facilities but badly needs a make-over, and to be kept cleaner.

The leisure facilities were excellent, a good gym, nice pool plus sauna and steam room. Good place to relax after a long drive. The room, a single, had a 3/4 size bed, so plenty wide enough. For a longer stay I would recommend a larger room though. It was clean and tidy . Bar food was reasonably priced.

Clean pleasant hotel. We were given room No. 123. After being in the room for half an hour the noise coming from the kitchens below was realy bad. Reception thought it might be the air con units in the kitchen and we were moved to room 106 which was very quiet. As the hotel was nearly empty I dont know why we were given firstly a noisy room and then a room which was furthest away from the stairs. We arrived back on the friday evening at 11.30p.m. The bar was shut and there was no one on reception. The vending machine selling sweets and crisps was out of order. Breakfast on the Saturday was served from 6.30 to 9.30. In most hotels we have stayed in breakfast is normaly served until later than 9.30 on a weekend.

The pleasantness of the staff and their willingness to help made our visit very comfortable. The electric alarm clock going off at 5.30 in the morning was a bit of a disruption since we did not set it, and the fact that we had attended our dear brother in law's funeral and had difficulty sleeping and had just dropped off at approx. 3am did not help. nothing, apart from the alarm going off at 5.30am

The ambience of the dining room; the choice in the continental breakfast. The pastries at breakfast (pain au chocolat and croissant) had been cremated - they were black, hard and crunchy! The receptionist did not ask me if everything was ok with my stay.

Food was good, wifi in the room was good, Rooms are on the small side. Fan noise from the kitchens below my room was not acceptable. They were fully booked and could not relocate me. Would stay again but not in room 127.
