The restaurant was superb and the staff very friendly

I was given a room at the back of the hotel which was sited about 2 or 3 floors above large and very noisy Aircon units. However, they did go quiet around 11:30 pm

Air con didn't work in either of the two rooms we used.

No wi-Fi, stains on the floor, tired furniture, poorly informed front desk staff.

We were in Room 102 Supposedly a "superior" room The room had been smoked in and stank of stale cigarette smoke, it was in the mattress and our clothes had to be laundered/dry cleaned to get rid of the smell. the roof outside the room was littered with cigarette butts and there was packaging material left on the roof by contractors which with the discarded cigarette butts constituted a fire hazard

Central location, coumfortable rooms

The restaurant was very close to the bar and very noisy if there is a croud in the bar. Other than that the food was excellent.

Staff at all levels were excellent and very, helpful, Bathroom was good

Bedroom tired and did not reflect what was onthe website. I upgraded to a superier room, but really wasn't that great

The management must have a fantastic training policy as the staff were the best, most helpful, friendly yet totally professional individuals as a group too of all the staff in any hotels I have stayed at anywhere in the world and all should be complemented.

Staff as usual were extremely friendly and professional. Another enjoyable stay at a hotel in a prime location.

Parking - we were not made aware beforehand that there was building work ongoing next to the hotel - and the usual vehicle drop-off point was subsumed into the building site. It needed me dropping off my wife, and then going round Nottingham again to find out where we could drop the car for pick up by the parking agent. Perhaps the hotel could have let guests know beforehand?

being accused twice of not having paid for breakfast while eating was unpleasant. I had to interrupt my food, and line up in reception in order to sort this out. this bit was unsatisfactory.

I did like the front desk staff & the breakfast quality & smily staff. I like also the location was excellent and all facilities were nearby. I did like the bellows used & I may have one from them next visit for free (just joking)

Internet charges

Everything about the hotel was great - no complaints whatsoever. Very clean and well kept. Reception staff were very polite and helpful. The A/C was pretty loud but can be just be turned off if preferred. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Heating/air conditioning did not seem to warm the room, but as only staying for a short one night stay did not feel it appropriate to mention at the time.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good - mix of English breakfast (warm foods) and continental. Guests were mixed - business and leisure, beds were comfortable, bathroom was good. Hotel was right next to the city center. Free Wifi.

As the hotel is much used for British young people celebrating, the room needed some cleaning - stains on the bathroom door, the curtains are still much stained, carpet had spots of older dirt. The room would get quite cold within less than half hour when heating was not on, some guests got additional heaters for their rooms, we got an extra blanket. Construction ongoing right outside the room windows.

Great breakfast (English and continental), location close to city center.

Very noisy rooms from air conditioner/heating system and from outside, if you heat you cannot sleep due to extreme noise comming from ventillation, without heating the room is freezing cold. Ear plugs are prepared at the bed by the hotel. Clean sheets and bathroom, dirty carpet and worn out furniture. Only pay tv was working no other channel was available.

All staff we met were very friendly, rooms were lovely and comfortable, good choice of breakfast menu. Chino Latino Pan-Asian Restaurant & Bar lovely food pity there isn't an alternative menu.

Room temperature control not easily understood so had to send for an electric heater.

Nice spacious room with a good view of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was realy good too.

Waiting for breakfast due to the number of people staying there. Got in for breakfast at 11.15am after queuing for some considerable time.
