quite disappointed on paying over £100 for the bed and breakfast option for just one night, and there not actually being enough food for all of the guests. We were having to queue up to wait for food to become cooked, meaning the food on our plates was cold by the time it was eaten. The serving area and dishes were quite small meaning it ran out very quickly, we ended up just having toast and leaving due to having to wait 20 minutes for anything else cooked. Very poor

The location is great, really central and you can walk to pretty much anywhere in the city centre. The staff were also really helpful and friendly. The beds were really comfy and the shower was great! It doesn't look much from the outside and there is no real restaurant or bar in the hotel. The lobby is small. The bedrooms are also on the small side of things too. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby though and the staff recommended an excellent Indian restaurant across the road which we loved.

The bed was comfortable There was nothing 'superior' about this room. It had a very old television with few channels No hand towels in the bathroom Noisy air con/heating Well worn information pack that obviously hadn't been updated for a while A rather spartan room for the price

The executive room was nice, especially the bed. The breakfast was also tasty. The front desk took a long time to merge the four rooms we had together so I could pay under the one bill. Then they still didn't get it right when I came to check out in the morning.

The hotel location is in the centre of nottingham and is walking distance to most amenities including local bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and modern with updated access to technology. The reception staff are welcoming but could do better in expalining the benefits nottingham have to offer. The breakfast setting and the food was appaling ...on sunday morning we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and when seated constantly had to ask for milk, tea, tea spoon, fruit ..there was no fruit left and no quassons ..the staff were run ragged due to what was clearly a shortage of assistants...the english breakfast was so bad we opted for cerial instead.....i very rarely complain about service but this was diabolical to say the least...

The location was great, very central the staff were helpful. The standard of rooms is a joke. There is nothing about this hotel which is 4*... the rooms were small, dated, worn and a premier travel inn would have been cheaper and better quality. We complained and in the end had to be moved to an executive suite before we got a room even close to what you would expect for 4* and then asked for £15 per night supplement!!!

Friendly staff, large room. Ensuite shower was weak, the "king" bed was two 3ft singles pushed together, by the morning I was falling between the crack! Poor selection of television channels.... no music channel either! I stayed at the new holiday inn express for £30. it was a better hotel! certainly didnt think that the Park Plaza was a £120 a night hotel!

the reception area is lovely and classy, and clean. The staff are attentive, on the whole. the room was a little scruffy, to be honest. The carpet was a little worn, and the bathroom door would not shut properly.

Located brilliantly for shops bars and restaurants. Breakfast superb range. Beds very comfortable. Car park very close and good rate at £5 for 24 hours exclusively for hotel guests which is inexpensive for city. Rooms were very basic and didn't have extras I would usually expect for the price ie iPod dock, seating area. We upgraded to executive however I would only describe it as a standard room.

Good staff, good location. Rooms are a bit dated, the location is pretty noisy, patchy maid service (if you use teabags etc, not always replaced).

It was very central and close by to attractions that we wanted to visit. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay at the hotel again and recommend it to others The room that we had was quite noisy, being able to hear other guests conversations through the walls. Above our room was also a fannor generator noise of some kind. This did disrupt our stay but not to the point where we needed to change rooms

Leaving as my time there was terrible and a waste of money, £210 for two nights stay is a joke, 4* I dont think so The rooms were a very low standard, and tbh the Premier Inn is a better standard of room, Just because the room is slightly bigger than a budget hotel doesnt mean you can class it as an executive double. If you compare this hotel to other 4 star executive doubles it will be clear as how bad and misleading you are to the customer. It was my 3rd year anniversary with my girlfriend and I will defiantly not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone. I never write a review on hotels but I just had to let people know that this hotel is a 3* at most!!!!

The central location, the breakfast was very good and the hotel looks modern. The fact that we were booked on the smoking floor even though we don't smoke! And we didn't book a smoking room. Luckily the hotel staff was friendly and able to move us. The drainage of sink and shower didn't work properly.

The check in was a disgrace - had to wait nearly 20 minutes even though there was a spare member of staff stood at the counter. Not at all helpful.
