Very impressed with the service and hospitality. Would definitely stay again. Excellent value and right in the city centre

The rooms were comfortable,large and clean. Despite being in the City centre very quiet. The staff were helpful and well mannered at all times.

The instructions for the heating system were not very obvious -perhaps a booklet giving such instructions would help.

We had apparently been upgraded and the room was nice however we did experience some noise late and night and early in the morning. In my opinion it seemed there was a problem with the plumbing in the adjoining room. This was reported to the reception staff in the morning.

loved how central the hotel was for the train station and shops, will defo book again

the only fault was what we think was the noise of the pluming from the nex room, at 7.30 in the morning.

Spacious well-equipped room, great ensuite with powerful shower. I would have been wowed if it had been cleaner.

More attention to cleanliness needed - dirty cups, finger marks all over black gloss bedroom worktop, could hardly see through one of the windows in the room & the towels smelt terrible! Smoked salmon & yoghurts at breakfast were left at room temperature while pastries were cold. They ran out of baked beans by 9.45am (breakfast served until 11am). Disappointed as I booked as a treat for my daughters 14th birthday.

Asked for a quiet room ended up next to the lift shaft again! This is the second time this has happened

The food was really good. The bar had an excellent view of the city traffic. The staff were kind and friendly. Very central.

The bathroom door was frosted glass and rather more transparent that I would have liked. It also had some dirty marks on it. It was hard to find the car park because of the one way system and the directions given by the front desk weren't great.
