The food was excellent - we had a lovely dinner and the breakfast was very good. We were allocated a disability room which faced into the car park - the room was very dark and quite drab. We would have preferred an upstairs room with a sea view. We stayed here because we were flying out from prestwick airport the next morning but we would not have been happy to spend any more nights in the room we were given

proximity to the sea-front and golf courses attitude of staff - we tried to order an evening meal at approximately 1800hrs and were told that they had a wedding on and couldn't serve food. Then after we'd complained, they said they could rustle up a sandwich. I appreciate they must have been busy, but they should have informed us before we arrived of the food situation.

Friendly staff. Polite and helpful at all levels. Accommodated us with our requirements ie: disabled room/ sea view rooms. Walk in shower in some rooms. Single room really small plus mattress was a bit hard.

The very hard bed in Room No 27 and the 45 minutes waiting on breakfast of porridge, pancakes and cooked breakfast being served despite the almost empty dining room.

Breakfast Room 3 was basic with bland decorand the bed must have been 20 years old, when youn turned it creaked very loudly it sort of rolls into the middle and was very uncomfortable. We were sitting in the bar and were asked to move from the window seat overlooking the sea view to accommodate a wedding party we were not very happy.

Location for golf in Ayershire can't be beat. Clean hotel, friendly staff, quality breakfast. For the price, hotel was more than adequate. Could "beef up" its internet, which has wireless only in a part of the hotel -- not including all guest rooms.
