The staff were lovely and friendly and made us feel welcome. Also, breakfast was yummy. The hotel is only a short walk from the beach and has parking facilities, which was handy. The room itself was clean and quiet and the hotel had a small lift, which was easier than trying to get small children climbing stairs! We booked a family room which was "cosy". Also, we had 2 young children with us (aged 3 and 5, hence the family room) and were a little surprised to find that the room consisted of a double bed and bunk beds, which are not recommended for under 6's (there was even a sticker on the bunk bed to this effect) We feel that this should have been refered to when booking, or the ages of the children checked before the room was allocated as the website makes no mention of this.

Convenient location near sea front.Able to park outside building. My wife is disabled and there is a very steep flight of steps to the entrance. The room was small. The bedside light didn't work. The plug in the sink didn't close properly,so couldn't hold water. The cooked breakfast was very greasy, fried egg was hard, not very nice. The credit card that I had secured the booking with was used without my permission in our absence on checking out. What if I had wanted to use a different card?I Didn't have the chance.

We found the stay a disaster, to say the decor was poor is a understatement, there was not a very nice smell coming out off the ensuite and my wife found the whole experience distressing to the point she would sooner walk around outside in the wind than relax in the room, this was suppose to have been her birthday treat, i would say this hotel is not far off a hostel for the homeless, and do not be fooled by the photo's on the web site, they must have been done by David Bailey.

It's a stone's throw from Devonshire Park and the Aegon International Tennis trournament. Wifi was free and available in all rooms. No noise from outside at night. The tiny two-person lift only goes to the third of four floors.

We were very disappointed. The furnishings were very tatty. My mother's room had a dressing table with no mirror - just a wooden post where the mirror had been. There was black tape around the window frames. There were no hairdryers or fridges in the rooms even though these facilities had been advertised. The lights in the communal areas kept switching off and as the stairs are quite steep this could actually be dangerous. On Sunday morning my invoice was.brought to my breakfast table in full view of the other residents and I was told that there was a problem with my credit card - which was not the case at all-my number had printed correctly!

On arrival the owners were attentive, friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was kept very clean with a regular change of the bed linen and towels. The hotel is conveniently situated for the beach, theatres and shopping in the town centre. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Park View Hotel to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable hotel on the south coast of England.

The room was very spacious with high ceilings and good facilities (spacious bathroom, tv, fridge, plenty of storage space and a balcony). The owners were very friendly and chatted with you, making you feel instantly at ease and at home in Eastbourne. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection of foods.

Myself, My partner & her daughter stayed at the Parkview Hotel Eastbourne on Saturday 7th April for one night &was very disapointed with our room, as when booked I booked a family room & when we arrived it was a double bed for my partner &myself & what could only be described as a camp bed for our teenager daughter. Also I have recently had Emergency Spinal Surgery which I have to use crutch to walk with. We were on the 3rd floor the lift only worked once so had to take the stairs which caused pain &discomfort. We payed £140 for the night which for the family room fair enough, but not for a double with a camp bed.. I have used booking.com several times & been happy with our hotels, but this one was unexceptable.

Very friendly and accomodating staff. The four of us stayed in a family room which was quite cosy and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.Beach less than 5 mins walk. Lots of shops and diffferent restaurants. We are hoping to go back to Eastbourne again and will stay at Parkview Hotel.

De eigenaresse was erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het hotel is gedateerd, de familiekamer was krap en niet super schoon. Toen wij er overnacht hebben was het een warme dag geweest en de kamer was ook erg warm (geen airco).
