I loved everything about Parkview. The landlady was delightful, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were of a very high standard. I will definitely be using Parkview again.

Staff were great, friendly and knowledgable. Room has everything you need for a short stay. Fine for me but could have done with a wardrobe for slightly longer stays as clothes storage was limited.

Clean room and kind hostess Booking.com was not enough clear about what should be paid at the end. It says on one side that no payment would be made at the booking period but on the other side it was not the case the first night was taken. So thanks for giving a clear policy.

Pretty much everything. Very kind and polite staff. The room was really comfy and clean and the hotel is in a quite convenient location, only 15 minutes from the city centre. The breakfast should be included in the whole price.

Lovely quiet location right opposite a park. A very attractive room. Warm and cozy. Perfectly functional en-suite bathroom. Very nice staff and a decent breakfast. Uncomfortable slatted bed could do with a bit of hardwood or similar to level it up.

extremely friendly and helpful staff room very small. I didn't seem to be able to turn the radiator off and also in the room was a hot water tank. Even with the window open in midwinter the room was stifling.

We had a lovely stay at Parkview. Friendly hosts, comfortable, clean room and excellent breakfast. its a little bit of a hIke to the city centre which we knew anyway but its a nice walk down Mill Road and the bus service is excellent. Only one small gripe. The bathroom is quite small and can pose a few problems for large people. The shower itself is excellent though. I would definitely stay again.

Our room was pleasant, very clean ond looking out over the garden. The breakfast was absolutely lovely with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly. It was difficult to contact the staff as they lived in a separate building at the bottom of the garden. Our bathroom was very small indeed with no hooks to hang clothes on.

My visit was only brief one to enable me to visit my daughter in Rathmore road. She had just had an operation and it was not possible to stay with her because she is having a lot of work done on the house. Room 2 was only just adequate because it is so small, especially the en-suite. One night was quite sufficient. I would come again in similar circumstances though. The young lady (stand-in) was charming.

We had a very friendly welcome and consideration was given to my friend who is not very mobile- to the extent that our room was changed to make the stay easier for her. This was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay there if we visit Cambridge again.

If you are booking a single room, caveat emptor! Cambridge is beautiful, but this place is up the grimy end of town. Payment is by cash. On arrival I was asked if I wanted to pay upfront before I'd even put my bag down. No. There was no wardrobe, clothes had to be hung on a rail over the tv. There was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper, and no extra supplies. No toiletries except a liquid soap container containing 1 cm of soap, which was not refilled during my two night stay. Because the bathroom door would not fully open, as the bed was in the way, I had to enter the bathroom sideways. The room was next to the stairs and very noisy. For same money stayed other places that were like five star hotels.
