Hilfsbereites Personal an der Rezeption. Kaffee und Teezubehör werden täglich aufgefüllt.

Zimmer sollten besser gereinigt und instandgehalten werden. Bei uns war der Dampfabzug im Bad defekt, dies haben wir gemeldet, repariert wurde es aber nicht. Sehr unpersönliche Atmosphäre in der Bar beim Frühstück und im Restaurant. Im Restaurant sollte das Preisleistungsverhältnis angeglichen bzw. Nach unten korrigiert werden. Für ein vier Sterne Hotel war das Frühstücksbuffet sehr bescheiden. Auch die Duschen und Umkleidekabinen im Schwimmbad entsprachen nicht unseren Vorstellungen eines Clubs oder gar einem vier Sterne Haus. Event und Business stehen nach unseren Erfahrungen mehr im Vordergrund als dem Hotelgast bzw. Urlaubsgast eine entspannte und erholsames Ambiente zu bieten.

Staff are superb and the facilities excellent the place has improved in the last 10 years beyond recognition

Rooms were very well presented. Had a clock in the room so could see the time easily if you wake in the night.

Bar and restaurant area needs more atmosphere.

The swimming pool and linked cafe is well designed and the spacious layout of the other public areas promote a relaxed atmosphere. All staff are welcoming and helpful.

Staff friendly. Very clean. Good food. No dirty grout in bathroom. Comfy bed . overall one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently.

As a BW Diamond card holder I was impressed with this hotel. Room clean and spacious - though a little 'fussy' for some who like a contemporary feel. Staff very helpful with regard to upgrade and late checkout. Partner enjoyed the Spa facilities. Will stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast room small compared with lounge next to it. Tables compacted together to make it difficult to take food back to table.

The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. Room were well equipped and nicely furnished with the most comfortable pillows.

Excellent friendly staff who always tried their best to make your stay relaxed and happy I have always booked for my family to stay at the Parkway

The satellite tv needs to be addressed poor reception but that is a minor criticism

Really relaxed atmosphere and all staff were a credit to best western

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Central for us to visit family members. Rooms were lovely and clean and very comfortable.

The breakfast set up needs altering, self-service is ok but when there are far too many people around it was too awkward to get to the food you wanted. We found that items of the food were running out and by the time you could get to the food you wanted the other parts of the breakfast were cold. Would also suggest fans in the bathrooms as the steam in one persons room set the fire alarms off at 4 am which wasn't pleasant after travelling a very long distance.

Cramped conditions in breakfast area.cereal and fruit table in same narrow throughwaybas people trying to make toast and get their cooked breakfast.staff seemed not to be able to cope with demand at times.residents getting frustrated and annoyed.this needs attention as this has happened the last three times I have stayed at the hotel!!'

Ambience, facilities

Bar/food experience not great. Staff sometimes less than welcoming and were understaffed on bar it seemed; and food portions from bar and restaurant not generous & over priced for what it was. Choice not great either as far too much beef on the menu when you would expect a hotel in Wales to provide more Welsh food experiences. The hotel lesiure club need a facility to dry wet shorts as you have to physically wring the water out of them to get them dry and if you are only staying for one night, how can they be dried in time? The above is the only let down here at this hotel really apart from getting Sky Sports in the bar area and/or available in rooms.
