Surrounded by over 7 acres of gardens, this luxury hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and a full English breakfast. Recently refurbished accommodations and a health club with 15-meter swimming pool are also featured. In Cwmbran and less than 5 miles from Newport and 3 miles from the M4 highway, the Parkway Hotel has a 4-star rating from the AA. Situated over 2 floors, all of the rooms were fully refurbished in 2006 and 2007. Beautifully furnished, the rooms have oversize beds, plush carpets and marble private bathrooms. Each room has a TV, an in-room safe, tea/coffee-making facilities, luxury toiletries and soft, fluffy bathrobes. Ravello's Restaurant offers a menu of European dishes, made using fresh, local produce. The traditional roast meal has also proved popular, as have the hotel's coffee shop and bar. The hotels facilities were excellent. We liked the outside games and swing. There were lovely flowers every where. We also liked the complimentary filter coffee in the room. So much nicer than packet instant ! Breakfast time, we think the self service element needs some re design. By the time you made your own toast your cooked breakfast was cold. If we did the toast first that would have been cold. The food and drinks took a long time to be replenished . or example I asked three different staff for orange juice for my daughter as non left in jugs. It took about 15minutes to arrive for her but the jugs were no refilled.

Staff were excellent and very friendly, facilities great, rooms very comfortable, food very good and bar, lounge, restaurant areas are very nice spacious and comfortable, fantastic log fire on a cold bank holiday Monday this is our 4th time and we all really enjoy coming here and feel so relaxed and at home. As a BW Diamond card holder I was impressed with this hotel. Room clean and spacious - though a little 'fussy' for some who like a contemporary feel. Staff very helpful with regard to upgrade and late checkout. Partner enjoyed the Spa facilities. Will stay at this hotel again. Breakfast room small compared with lounge next to it. Tables compacted together to make it difficult to take food back to table.

I thought the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very good. Comfortable atmosphere. Very good value for money. The satellite tv needs to be addressed poor reception but that is a minor criticism
