This pleasant and popular small hotel is a 5-minute walk from Marble Arch and Oxford Street, and is located on a quiet street opening onto Hyde Park. The Parkwood is a short walk across Hyde Park from Buckingham Palace, and is within walking distance of theaters, shops and tourist sites. The hotel offers budget prices for a great London location that is close to splendid shopping, including Primark and Selfridges, and Marble Arch Tube Station for access across the city. There is free Wi-Fi in hotel rooms, and there is a guest computer with free internet in the lounge area. Parking is available in the street outside the hotel, and guests can enjoy discounted parking in the local car park. Location is excellent, people are really friendly and breakfast is ok The room was really small and noisy, you could hear the people in the room above walking around and watching television. The shower was basic and it took several minutes to have some warm water. There is no elevator.

The staff is really friendly and the hotel lies on a perfect location. The room was clean and big enough for one person. Just a five minute walk from the Marble Arch tube station and Oxford Street. I had a wonderful time in London because of this hotel.

Location and architecture The drains of the sinks and bathtub were exceedingly slow to drain. The building is deteriorating w/o repairs; E.G., the window frame is rotten and there is exposure to the outside air. Extras, such as, a pen & paper and facecloths would be nice.

The hotel is only 5min from the tube,very closed to all the shops in oxford street,we booked a triple room,wich had a double bed and two singles,plenty of room,tv in both rooms tea facielities too,bathroom with shower wich work very well,very quiet at night wich was a nice surprise Also nice and clean.We had breakfast at 8am a full english,very nice,Friendly and helpfull staff.We paid £99 very good value for money indeed. Maybe no having a lift if u have children,our room was at the 3 floor,but we dint mind

great location, helpful staff, very cheap, great breakfast This is a cheap B&B, so the rooms are small, no elevator, everything is rather shabby. But you can't complain as the price is adequate and they do not try to sell you more than they have

Er was een goed electrisch kacheltje. Het personeel in de ontbijtzaal was erg vriendelijk. Ik moest 5 verdiepingen omhoog met de koffer. De douche en WC waren de helft van de tijd smerig. In de douche was een warmwaterapparaat dat zo'n herrie maakte dat het pijn deed aan mijn oren. Ik heb daarom tijdens mijn verblijf maar één keer gedouched en voor de rest de wastafel op mijn kamer gebruikt. Door 2 van de personeelsleden ben ik heel vreemd en onaardig benaderd.

De locatie is uitstekend, 10 minuten lopen naar Metrostation Marble Arch, Het ontbijt is ook uitstekend. Een volledig engels ontbijt word geserveerd. Je kunt altijd bijbestellen, ook is er voldoende serials. De kamers zijn aan de kleine kant, echter wordt voldoende gecompenseerd door de locatie en prijs van het hotel.

Wij (moeder en dochter) verbleven 3 nachten in dit hotel. De ontvangst was prima. Vriendelijk personeel. Gezellige kamer. Goed ontbijt. Uitstekende ligging. Via Hyde Park ben je zo bij Buckingham Palace. Oxfordstreet ligt om de hoek. Koffer kon op de dag van vertrek in de lounge (woonkamer met twee banken, tevens receptie) blijven staan. We moesten bij aankomst betalen omdat we via booking.com geboekt hadden.Dit was voor ons geen probleem. Badkamer wat verouderd. Zeil op de grond hobbelig. Douchestang zat los. Maar alles was wel schoon!

La ubicación es inmejorable, ya sea el viaje por turismo o compras. Bien comunicado en autobuses y metro. El personal encantador pero solo hablan inglés así que tenedlo en cuenta. Camas confortables. Muy limpio. Desayuno más que suficiente, y puedes pedir más y más si se quiere. Escaleras y más escaleras, las últimas son un infierno llevando maletas, aunque a la larga te acostubras. Baños compartidos pero muy limpios y bien provistos de toallas, papel y amenitties. Duchas a la inglesa, nunca me acostumbaré a semejante caudal infimo de agua en las duchas.
