Location as it was in easy reach of all historical sites. We were on the top floor and the lift only went to the third. Radiator in bathroom did not work so room was cold. |

the rooms were cold the heating wasnt on the first night,the heating only came on for a few hours and wasnt on in the bathroom.there was no hot water on the second night and the water was yellow due to the building work going on right next to the hotel that was on going over the weekend. |

Location to Princes Street and some city attractions Uphill location and didn't feel very safe in the area, room overlooked a building site, woken at 7am each morning when construction work began |

As a solo traveller I found the hotel very comfortable. It is in a quiet but central location and very convenient for visiting the town's main attractions. I think some people may not appreciate the short, but steep walk from Waverley station to the hotel, but then there are many steps/hills in and around the city. |

Great location, (small but) comfortable room, hotel staff working in the restaurant/breakfast area were lovely. Expensive internet access (GBP 6,50 per hour), expensive breakfast and rather unhelpful (ill-informed) staff at the reception desk. |
