the noise from the club downstairs was really loud and lasted till 4am.
The music from the bar/nightclub was too loud & kept me awake
Location (near everything, Albert dock and shopping) cheap minifridge
Bed was a bit uncomfortable
Location Price Ease of access
Heat in room could not be adjusted - very warm
the design of the room and history of the building - great location
noise from the attached bar
staff were really nice.
I was extremely disappointed at what I was expecting to be a 4 star hotel as per your website turned out to be as close to a hostel as you could get. I felt very uncomfortable there the hotel and the street it was on had an eerie feel to it and I had my 8 year old daughter with me and she was very nervy by the surroundings. saying that I must say the staff there were absolutely lovely.
Location Staff were very friendly
Location was excellent. We parked in the public car park opposite £8 for an overnight stay. Lovely room. Comfy bed. Bathroom lovely too. Only downfall was the noise from the people down below on the street. Nightclubs either side. Would stay again though.
The noise from the people on the street below and music from the nightclub
When checking out the receptionist asked us if we would like to keep our bags at the hotel for the day to save us carrying them about while out shopping
Not all the lights in the room was working nothing major didn't really affect us
great price, great location within walking distance of Albert Dock, shops and bars. 2 secure car parks less than a minute away. Lovely modern interior in a spacious, pleasant room.
Nice and cheap in comparison to surrounding areas. Very quirky and cool room. Did the job - bed and a shower
The location was great, round the corner from concert square! Beds were really comfy and so was the giant bean bag. Def woul stay again. Didn't hear any noise from in the hotel just some outside as next to a late bar but as we went out it wasn't a problem. By time we got back in music had stopped so had a good night sleep!
The lift but you can take the stairs :-)
Close to trendy bars, restaurants and the quirky shops on Bold Street
The inevitable night time disturbances by party revellers on the street outside
Ideal location helpful staff
Very noisy at night as next on the front to a club Shower luke warm
Loved it and ideal for what we needed, brilliant location, and Carol & Sharon (reception ladies) was very helpfull, definitely recommend this place for a small group of mates
Was very noisy in the room from the street outside due to the location, but also inside from the clientele that stayed there.
Good location Helpful staff
Not good wifi No breakfast option
Love love LOVE the location, both the area of Liverpool in which the hotel is situated (near the awesomely hip Bold Street, Chinatown, and all the cool bars, restaurants and clubs) and the building itself (in an historic and still operational recording studio). The staff were helpful and friendly and the price was spot on. Spacious and pretty room with cutlery and crockery usefully provided, and a very reasonable minibar. Also, it's been said before but worth mentioning again: comfiest beds EVER. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit.
Could be cleaner, and our power shower didn't work. To be fair if we'd been staying longer we would have mentioned it to the staff and I'm sure they would have resolved it. The noise was fine, we expected it and it wasn't even that bad with the windows shut. The only things that really let them down was the lack of a couple of little things (hand towels, bath mats, coat hooks) that would have made it perfect. It seems a real oversight in a place that seems to get so much right. But, honestly, at the price, it more than delivers.
Staff very helpful nothing too much trouble, clean rooms, studio setting, quirkiness. Excellent advice on how it may be possible to achieve the impossible and get tickets for the Liverpool Chelsea match.........Happy days we got tickets!!
Just a little too much heat in the room which meant opening the window for comfort, however there is a nightclub right next door which does get quite noisy but not enough to spoil your stay.
The location was brilliant for us as we had a gig to go to and the venue was literally round the corner. Clean, modern with friendly staff.
Overpriced 185 pounds for 2 nights and no breakfast included. Shower was leaking onto floor and was either too hot or to cold. Smell off damp in room and very noisy at night. Definitely will not come back to stay here being to loads off different hotels in Liverpool and this has to be the worst we have ever stayed in.
The rooms are nice but thats about it
Booming noise all night we had to leave at 1 in the morning, homeless people where sleeping around my car it was just a horrible experience
Very friendly staff, Large rooms, Well equipped, Brilliant location,
If I has wanted a decent nights sleep it would have been impossible as the music continues until the bars close at 4/5am, but as we were up partying it didn't bother us. Not suitable for families.
