Evening meal best seafood menu ever.
Nice welcome, friendly staff, food nice, beer prices very reasonable, all of the above despite being a very busy day for them. Nice beer garden.
A bit of noise from an aircon unit somewhere, although the nice warm weather which necessitated its use was welcome.
The staff were excellent, very helpful, especially Kirsty who gave us directions to places for us to visit. Although there was a problem with gas supplies to the kitchen during our stay, they still managed to feed us with some great food and coped admirably under difficult circumstances. Happily the problem was soon solved and we got to taste their excellent cuisine. Would thoroughly recommend.
What's not to like??
Food was good.
Our request for a travel cot on booking was not noted. On arrival we had to request it twice meaning our baby was up late. In the morning there was no one downstairs at breakfast time until 8.15am but according to the notice in our room breakfast was served from 7.30am.
Comfortable room. Good value for money. Good food. Loved ceiling fan in room. Good hearty breakfast.
Tiny mouldy patches in bathroom. Some peeling wallpaper.
Lovely village.near Tenby and other lovely places
The olde worlde atmosphere, and the food was good.
There was not enough wardrobe space.A single wardrobe for two people. I do not think so0
food, rooms, bed, staff
On a nice day it would have been good to have a drink outside.
The place has been neglected, and needs a revamp. Room small, had to put cases in bathroom, bed needs throwing out.
Everything, The food was outstanding, the rooms very comfortable and the staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble. There was such a variety for breakfast and the warm croissants were the best. Will definatley return.
Location was brilliant just a short drive to Tenby. Very friendly staff bed was a bit too soft for me but that is just a personal preference. Lovely to be able to have a decent beer and fall into bed. Very busy restaurant but very good food.
The bed was too soft but ok. Bathroom and shower were good but could do with a bit of the. No doubt this is done in the quieter months.
Nothing to dislike
The staff were really friendly and the location was just right for us. Far enough away from noise and traffic, but close enough to Tenby and surrounding attractions if wanted. Lovely beer gardens. The food and atmosphere were lovely and we would definitely stay again.
The view from the bedroom window. And the room was a little bit dark, but still clean and comfortable.
Good atomsphere and nice room and also healthy food
For couple the bed arrangement is separate
Location good with character building
Too few staff.Dirty stairs.poor food (but they did to rectify ) Wifi did not work
Organisation a bit chaotic lots of staff but not sure who is doing what !
On arriving the owner greeted us in the car park as we were on motorbikes and pointed a secured place to park them, rooms spacious and tidy, food was lovely, staff very friendly, nice location, will visit again..
location evening meal friendly staff
Clean and friendly, excellent service from all the staff. huge breakfast, but this can be ordered to suit. Would stay there again.
Location was convenient and th inn was cosy looking and had a nice beer garden
The staff was inexperienced, a bit clueless and inattentive. We were left at the bedroom door by the bar manager who rushed off to do god knows what as the place was pretty quiet! The curry we ate was more like soup and the waitresses had no idea what the food came with! The staff at breakfast was equally inattentive and inexperienced and rather nervous to say the least. We saw no one over 25 throughout the night or morning. To top it off we were told we could leave our bikes in a certain place but upon going to get them in the morning they had been flung to one side and damaged. A member of staff said that the owner would be in touch. We're still waiting!
Comfortable room Excellent evening meal Friendly and excellent service There was a slight problem with our booking that wasn't their or our fault but with Booking.com and their response was perfect - they sensed we were stressed by the situation and just said leave it to us and we will sort it out and then ensured we had somewhere to sit and a drink while they did exactly that. Exactly what we needed at that moment thank you.
Nothing comes to mind.
We received a really friendly welcome then were shown to our room which was tastefully decorated and spotless. The restaurant was a pleasure to enter, with a great atmosphere and delicious food.
I couldn't find fault with anything! Will definitely stay again!
We loved our stay here. It is an old country inn which has all the conveniences you would expect from a modern hotel & yet has managed to keep it's charm. The food is great & the staff could not have been more helpful. It is lovely in the summer but I reckon would be equally nice in the winter with roaring log fires :-)
Nice location, great place, very clean and comfortable. Nice big bedroom with a large bathroom. Good selection of real ales
Cooked breakfast could have been better but there was plenty of choice.
