Beautiful house and surroundings, rooms where absolutely stunning with views of countryside, The best B&B we have stayed in and the owners Jeni and Steve are just wonderful people where nothing was to much trouble very friendly and welcoming people with plenty of knowledge for the area and places to visit, would recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visiting the lakes you won't be disappointed, we will definitely be returning.

We were warmly welcomed by Jenny who made us feel right at home and made great suggestions as to how best spend three days in the Lakes District. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The Parsonage is located near a quite village with a great pub, which made our stay very enjoyable.

The hosts were most welcoming and the standard of service exceptioinal. My wife and I were made to feel very much at home, but without excessive interference. A must vist locatiion - many thanks.

Lovely views from the spacious quiet bedroom great shower wood-burning stove in dining room & reception room

Breakfasts took too long-we stayed a number of nights & 35 mins wait was the norm between giving our 'cooked breakfast' order & it being put in front of us. We didn't even have toast to eat while we were waiting.

The room was excellent, the scenery and landscape surrounding the house were amazing. The owners were friendly and full of advice with regards to places to visit and things to do while in the area. Overall was made to feel very welcome.

Beautiful house in a lovely part of the country. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Breakfast offered a wide choice of foods, in a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Parsonage House to others.

The location of Parsonage House was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for friendlier people running it. I was so thankful for the advice on things to do in the area; when you google the Lake District there are a million options, but we got excellent advice based on what we were looking to do during our stay.

Couldn't fault this place at all.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable with high quality furniture, bathroom, sheets etc. Breakfast was delicious. Location was a quiet hill in the countryside with lovely views.

Loved the location, the beautiful house The luxury of the rooms and the beautiful china and silver tea service at breakfast. Excellent choice at breakfast and welcoming tray of tea and biscuits in beautiful lounge on arrival. Wonderful hospitality of hosts and helpful knowledge of the area which ensured we had a wonderful stay. We'll definitely be back.

Our stay at Parsonage House was absolutely fantastic, surrounded by beauty of the place ( house and location) and the hosts' gentleness and helpfulness. We do hope to come back!

Parsonage House have excelled both in terms of hospitality and quality. Unfamiliar with the lake district, we followed the owner's advice on what became a beautiful walk through the valleys with stunning views. We have really enjoyed our stay there and would certainly recommend it to friends.

I would extent the time of breakfast from 8:30am-9:00am to 8:30am-9:30am.

I would give Parsanage house 10/10 . The guest house was beautiful, clean and so wonderfully tastefully furnished. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in advising lots of wonderful walks. We will most certainly return no need to stay anywhere else it was just perfect.

Parsonage House was very well presented, clean and welcoming. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel at welcome in their charming home. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and suggested some lovely walks. We really enjoyed our stay and have already told our family and friends of how much we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be going back for another holiday.

Everything. The welcome from the couple who own Parsonage House was excellent. The detail and comfort could not be better. Room and bathroom with shower excellent. Views marvellous. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and have recommended it already to our friends.

Wow! This B & B is amazing - the best I have ever stayed at. Great location, fantastic hosts and what a beautiful room overlooking the garden. Fresh breakfast with eggs freshly laid! Comfort, hospitality, luxury. Hosts were fantastic. Our stay could'nt have been better.

We have been travelling for nearly four weeks and the Parsonage had the best bed, shower, towels we have had. The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. It has certainly been our best B and B experience to date. Would certainly recommend this B and B without hesitation.
