The event area was spacoios and very nice - food was good. Uncomfortable beds and expensive for what we got - no fridge - no safe etc The price was also much cheaper for other people staying so we felt quite annoyed.

Friendliness of staff, great room, great food. We were there for a family party which was held at the hotel and this was excellent as well. The comfort and frien,iness of the hotel. The beautiful conservatory was so relaxing.

We went for a short break as it was a surprise for my husbands 60th and we have friends living nearby. When we arrived we were upgraded to a superior room which included a tester bed and jacuzzi bath! We ate one night in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent, served in a lovely restaurant with pleasant and happy staff. The breakfast on both mornings was delicious with plenty to choose from. The whole stay was a delight and I would definately recommend it.

I liked the quiet comfortable room, the good quality tv the tea and coffee in the room and the breakfast The only down side was the poor little electric shower. How pathetic.

Good location very friendly staff we were made to feel welcome wonderful breakfast and you could have an evening meal and then relax in the bar all without leaving the hotel all in very pleasant surroundings.

We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. We thought the staff were brilliant and all really well trained in their jobs. Maybe they could use some extra lights at the hotel entrance.

The room was well appointed and it was close to the family we visited. The athroom door did not close properly. The bathroom door squeaked loudly when opened or closed. The bathroom extractor fan made a very loud noise when switched on and it switched on automatically with the light.

A lovely relaxing weekend to help celebrate our anniversary. As it was our 30th wedding anniversary our 3 children gave us a bottle of champagne as a present and to help us to celebrate. As there were no glasses in our room we asked if we could borrow 2. We were told that they would have to charge us corkage if they gave them to us!! Anything to make extra money! We declined and used the mouth wash glasses from the bathroom!! I really don't think lending us 2 glasses was too much to ask. We stayed in a Marriott hotel the previous year for our anniversary and they provided glasses and bottle opener in the room as standard. We had a lovely stay apart from that.
