Lovely room with view. Spa excellent. Showers in bathroom were cheap and ineffective. Bathrobes not given in spa.

Old world charm blended with modern bedrooms and facilities. For me needs a better selection in the bar, including at least one real ale as no other choice nearby. A little expensive for location.

An excellent location & atmosphere, very clean and a sense of class. The free WiFi is excellent. The only complaint is the lack of a Barista type coffee machine. Filter coffee alone is just not up to scratch these days. A trivial item in the greater scheme of things but small fly in the ointment.

Cloisters spa was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for a quiet room and were put at the far end of the hotel overlooking fields which was really nice.

The spa was very good and modern and is adult only. The room was outdated and in need of renovation/updating. Our room only had a bath but no shower.

location --- The village of Escrick is a typical Yorkshire village --- Old church - old houses and village pub with log fire and good crowd of people Only a short bus ride into York Town Centre Nothing

The dinning area needed a good dusting as there were quite a lot of spider webbs on the walls and ceiling. It took a long time to be served at the bar as there was never anyone there.

We went to chill out before my husbands 60th birthday celebration!! The Cloisters Spa Centre was fantastic and not too busy and spotlessley clean. It's also a great location for York. The only downside is that the Cloisters spa is in a seperate building from the hotel so in bad weather you need to go outside to get to it!!

Spa facilities are very good and the restaurant is also Very nice. Beds are appalling stayed there twice now and for What they are charging the beds are a disgrace cheapest Mattresses are used very uncomfortable. It's a pity because it lets the Hotel down. Would use spa again and maybe dine thier but wouldn't stay there Because of the beds.

The hotel is lovely. We received a warm welcome and were well looked after during our stay. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The spa is excellent. Brand new and with several different rooms (aromatherapy, salt, steam and sauna) as well as a huge jacuzzi (avoiding the usual awkward squishing up!) All in all, my friend and I agreed it was excellent value for a spa and shopping weekend - 10 minutes from York centre and just a couple of miles from the Designer Outlet.

Eight of us (four couples) all retired meet for a ghat and some good food the hotel was perfect. None of us could find fault with anything would recommend to anyone.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. We really enjoyed the weekend. The staff were very helpful and polite and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. Nothing to dislike.

The hotel is very nice but a little dated in the deco. The Lesiure Facility was an abolsute 11 out 10. Everything you could ask for in a spa and health centre. I think the checkout for 10:30 is a little early!!! Rooms were a little cold but not unbearable
