Very nice view from room. Breakfast was good
Wasnt an awful lot to Tintern. Bathroom a little dated. Towels shabby. Bit lacking in atmosphere.
The location, next to the River Wye, and friendliness of the staff were faultless. The honesty bar is well stocked, and the guests' lounge is comfortable with a good range of board games and books.
The car exit out of the carpark onto the road requires some attention! Also, mealtimes could have been more flexible.
Well looked after by our hosts, Peter and Angela, and lovely evening meals and drinks in house made life easy. Many thanks for all the helpful suggestions of great things to do in the immediate area and beyond.

Friendly owners, Comfy room and facilities. Lovely location. Would return and stay again.
Nothing to dislike.
Very friendly and spotless.
Nothing we did not like.
We were made welcome and shown our room which was up quite a lot of stairs and the room was rather dark but the weather was not good so this didn't help! The bed was comfortable and there was tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was rather dated with a pink suite and the bathroom door was very hard to open and shut until one got the knack of pushing one's knee against it. The pub across the road was very good for supper and the breakfast in the B & B was good.
Location by the river and for access to the Abbey and days out. Comfortable rooms. Well stocked honesty bar. Lovely breakfast.
The owners did not make us feel 'unwelcome' but neither did they go out of their way to make us feel 'welcome'. The landlady was very abrupt and intolerant when we struggled to operate the key in our obviously temperamental room lock. Whilst the honesty bar was a good idea.....we felt we were outstaying our welcome when the cosy lights were turned out around us and the drinks list was removed in the middle of our scrabble game (about 11.30!) We were advised to stay but felt we were overstaying our welcome. Overall approach was too business- like to be welcoming. A shame as it is a lovely place.
Very clean facilities, set in an old building. Breakfasts were very good and nutritious. Location was just perfect along the river. Staff recommendations for dinner in town were very good. Nice family-run B&B !
The location at Parva is good. The food was excellent. The owners were friendly.
Excellent food, service, location was good, lovely by the river.first class
enjoyed the place owners were very nice food was very good
floor boards were a bit noisey also shower could do with a bit more pressure
Pet dog in dining room looking to be fed and then defecating on the carpet.
Lovely location and clean, walking distance to lovely pub The Anchor for dinner opposite the Abbey. Entrance a bit tight but we had a small car and 2 motorbikes(2 couples!) The men did not have a problem and being a lady driver no problem!
Friendly host. Excellent breakfast Good location for Tintern Abbey
Squeaky floorboards in en-suite. Lack of lighting in car park in evening
Beautiful setting, comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, private car park
The room and the river view. The location was perfect for views, the village and a great riverside walk begins from the adjacent churchyard. Peter the host was friendly and very helpful and the breakfasts were excellent, I had other meals out so cant comment on the dinner menu.
The exit from the car park onto the main road was on a bend and concealed so rather risky.
Views, food, memory foam topper on bed. Lovely old building.
Bit dicy getting out of drive on a bend - just gotta be careful.
good food, very comfortable bed, excellent location
minimal parking due to location
The couple running Parva Guest Hse were fantastic and friendly, the food including dinners was top notch and they were very helpful with info etc.
A very nice guesthouse and near Tintern Abbey and walkingpaths. Beautiful surrounding. Very good meals.
nothing, evrything was ok. the only minor point: most peopole above 65-80. and after dinner, they all went to bed.
all those stairs
Friendly welcome, nice rooms, good food, overall just what we were looking for.
Tricky access onto busy road.
This was a good place to walk from and especially to visit Tintern Abbey. It's also well placed for Chepstow, Abergavenny, Monmouth and Usk
The historic background and superb scenery around, Plenty to do and see within a short drive. Excellent walking country.
