I loved the boiling hot shower that was broken, I loved the fact the air conditioning was broken / missing remote. I loved the fact I spent 10mins trapped in the shower cubicle because the the door jammed. I loved the out of date crisps as a welcome present, I loved the fact that there was no towels on arrival I just loved it

friendly staff, clean room with nice shower room ........ nice view of the railway lines..... could be fun trying the Turkish Spa ..... and Restaurant .......... sadly we didn't have time. It has parking at a cheap cost which is an advantage in London. Would be great for the Olympics I would have thought....

Although on a main road it's a bit off the beaten track for the unseasoned traveller perhaps....... The trains could put some off the room we had (I liked them)

I thought that the hotel itself was excellent. The comfort was first class and for a single room it was spacious. It was also very clean and modern. I have no complaints at all about the hotel.

I think that the booking in time is too late. I arrived at 12 with a meeting to attend and could not have a room. I could not change and so had to attend my meeting in the clothes I travelled in. I was allowed to use the turkish bath room, but there was no shower, sink or anything to clean up available. I wasn't impressed with this and that spoiled my visit. There was also loud music until the early hours and the hotel is a long walk from the tube. Had I been allowed to use a room to refresh with on arrival, these points would have been minor, but I was already disappointed. It isn't as if the hotel prices are cheap and so I expected more for my money regarding booking in.

The room was comfortable.

My room smelt of smoke upon arrival despite being a non-smoking room. I had no extra / internal lock on my door and my window lock was broken, so as a lone female did not feel very secure. Also breakfast starts at 8am, by this I mean the kitchen staff arrive and switch things on at 8, this was a little late for both myself and other business people staying.

The only problem I had was that I was asked to pay on the day of leaving thinking I had already done so when booking it. There was nothing to say I had to pay on leaving but luckily I did have my bank cards with me so not a problem personally. This could be made clearer for others however.

The staff were friendly enough, although the language barrier was an issue as some spoke little English.

This was truely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in ! After check in, we were taken up 2 flights of steep, narrow stairs which were badly lit and had no hand rail to hold, to a tiny, filthy stinking room. The room stank of cigarette smoke, and we were told by the person escourting "feel free to smoke in here" ! My husband and myself are non smokers, so were not impressed that we were going to smell like an ashtray after leaving the room. The wardrobe was falling apart, the carpet was stained and filthy, the drain for the shower was blocked and the tray over flowed, I cut my foot on a broken drain on the bathroom floor, the window was broken and taped, and the bed was cheap and uncomfortable. This hotel was not worth £20 a night, let alone the £80 we were charged. It was a cheap, nasty, sleazy hovel

very comfortable beds, rooms were clean and quiet. reception staff very helpful.

Room was fairly cheap and the Hammam was a pleasant and relaxing experience. Easy access to London centre (good bus services near the hotel)

Roof terrace was under construction so not available to use The location was in a rather dodgy area of London Brunch was not available although it was advertised upon request and I had a written agreement with the hotel Hammam facility was at an extra cost even for hotel guest which was not clearly advertise that way

What you saw on the photos was the same as in the hotel, apart from the Art Gallery which was a line of pictures spaced betrween ground floor bedroom doors in a corridor leading to the Restaurant.

The hotel does not have a lift. I was asked for photgraphic id with a signature so that it could be copied by them despite the booking being confirmed by email. By way of explanation they tried to say it was their "policy" needless to say they never got it. I would advise no one to give anyone a copy of their photograpghic and signed id due to potential Identy Theft. The room was poorly located and faces onto a railway line at the rear and has trains going past every few minutues. Breakfast was advertised as being available from 8 - 10 am yet I had to go to reception to get the chef and the Restaurant was opened at 8.15. The area the hotel was located was poor and might put people off from visiting. On the whole it was poor value for money, and I for one will not be staying in the future anjd I would recommend others who may read this to consider other hotels

Rooms too small. Telly and air conditioning not working. Ok for an overnight stay.

Train is to near to room's window. No WiFi in room.

although the location was on a main road with takeaways etc & our room was within 20m of a railway line, it was surprisingly quiet. there area was busy, but i didn't feel unsafe.

the hotel wasn't the cleanest and needs a better maintenance program. it did not smell, but was generally a bit shabby - photos are misleading. not somewhere i would have normally have chosen, but we were visiting friends in the area. the breakfasts are an extra £5, which they mistakingly tried to charge as we did not eat there.

They recognised us following a previous visit very personal service and kindly changed our room because i couldnt manage the stairs.
