The vegetarian breakfast were the best I've eaten!
Felt safe, nourished and well looked after. Thank you for your time after time friendliness and great salmon and eggs. X
Highly recommended- I wish I could have stayed longer.
Great character. Breakfast was by far the best breakfast ever had in a hotel. Homemade marmalade was amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
The food was divine and the staff were well presented and polite, we felt welcome and relaxed. Our room was small but cosy, to be honest we were not there to run about a massive bedroom.
We were on the top floor which was good but seems everyone could hear us and us them, on order said we had an en-suite but shared a shower room with other people, but it was a nice room. Our room seemed to be on a slant as well as the top landing, after a few to many my partner nearly fell over the banister as it was not even ground.
Spotless clean friendly staff outstanding breakfast
Good breakfast. Helpful receptionist.
Small room with cramped toilet and shower,
Lovely little place. Top class breakfast. The best I've had anywhere!
The breakfasts! Fantastic choice and absolutely delicious. The location of Paskins is perfect for walking into the city, or just to the beach.
Parking was difficult even with the parking vouchers.
Everything, especially the breakfasts choice and comfort.
Small room for two
Staff friendly, smiling and helpful. Great shower in the en-suite. Though the room was quite small it contained a large and comfortable bed. Little things like the fruit and bottled water in the room. Complimentary toiletries. But most of all the exceptional breakfasts. Tried four different breakfasts including full fried, which was free of the pools opf fat one often experiences. My favorite was the Fresh Salmon and Scrambled Egg. Delicious. The Ritz could not do better, and certainly not at these prices.
Nothing to dislike other than perhaps the view from the window at the back of the property, but that was compensated for by the quietness of the room at night.
Very friendly staff, cosy family room, walking distance to pier, parking in front of the house (voucher), good breakfast in Art Deco style breakfast room.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff, good room and facilities with tea tray and toiletries provided, very good breakfasts
It was a little bit pricey.
Cleanliness Friendliness Quality Breakfast Well-run
A little noisy on the ground floor but nothing much to complain about at all.
We stayed in one of the top most rooms and to get to it had to climb several flights of steep narrow stairs. Great for a workout but not great with luggage!! Just something to watch out for :)
Room was a good size clean and comfortable on first impressions. However no chance to sleep in it.
Room was not fit for purpose. A problem with the lock on the inside of the door (something to do with a broken double locking mechanism I suspect) meant we were trapped in our second floor room whilst water leaked through our ceiling light fitting due to a problem upstairs. No staff on site as it was the middle of the night? Why? So we waited 15 mins for the other manager to arrive and release us. An unpleasant situation then compounded by David the manager/owner who not only shouted over my concerns, accused me of threatening him when I expressed doubts about fire safety within the hotel and also made the choice comment 'but it wasn't dripping into your bed' as he coerced us into an single room that suddenly became a double as they continued talking to us 'we do sometimes market it as a small double' dreadful nights stay here unfortunately. We were at least reimbursed for the shambles but a truly awful night.
Breakfast, of course. Wish they would serve it a little later, but oh well. excellent location, very clean. Amazing staff. I would definitely stay again.
WIFI was a bit choppy, but not terrible. I just had to jump on another network a few times, they offer 4.
Nice room with a delicious breakfast in the morning. Although parking costs £7.50 extra per 24 hours, this was explained well and we were able to find a space quite close to the hotel.
Hair dryer needs replacing.
Location Friendly Efficient Staff Ethical and Organic Produce and Toiletries Decor and Atmosphere Quality of Breakfast & Extensive Choice What was provided in the room each day (eg fruit and bottled water) Cleanliness
Although ethically sourced, the sachets of tea and coffee in the room were not to our taste
No skimping on the small single room with en suite shower room, all nicely furnished and very comfortable. Generous breakfast with lots of options.
Great place staff and more then helpful and very good condition, great place to stay
having to climb many flights of stairs
Breakfast, was provided after an early start out of the normal hours on request which seemed to be no problem for the staff. There was also a warm welcome upon arrival and any questions that you had were answered well and completely.
Good location and quirky, characterful place. Lovely little room, cleaned each day even though I was only there for three days. Great breakfast served by friendly and helpful staff.
It was a bit noisy, due to pesky seagulls (though not much you can do about that) and also the room above mine had quite creaky boards. But this didn't detract from my overall great experience.
Great location, easy walking distance to town and beach pier etc. lovely room even had a sea view!! And very good value for money, would definitely recommend.
The amount of stairs we had to climb to get to our room, way up in the eaves!!!!
