The four poster bed was stunning.
Although a single room, it was of a reasonable size, warm and very comfortable. On arrival late at night the lamps were lit, the curtains drawn and the whole room made to look welcoming and inviting. The room was exceedingly well equipped with iron and ironing board, coffee/tea making facilities, fresh fruit and bottled water. The shower room was stylishly designed with soap, shampoo, etc. supplied and plentiful hot water. The breakfast, served in an attractive dining room on the lower ground floor, was excellent in every way and cooked using the best possible ingredients - evident in the taste. I should have no hesitation whatsoever in unreservedly recommending Paskins as a small hotel, centrally situated offering exceptionally good value for money. I shall certainly return.
I liked it all.
The location was great and the bed was comfy.
A long, long way up to the room and a broken bin. Breakfast ended at ten-thirty am.
The decor, friendliness, convenient location, 'green' aspects, accommodation of my dietary requirements
The free upgrade. The gourmet breakfast ! The art deco style. The pretty walk to the centre of town.
Room not very spacious, though pretty and well organized.
This was our first visit to this B&B it was recommended by a friend it lived up to all its expectaions!
There is no interaction from staff except for breakfast which is superb by the way!! However apart from that you do not see anyone which feels a bit odd.Did not feel staff were that intrested in their clients. although service at breakfast is very good.
This is the sixth time I have stayed here and always my first choice. Susan's daughter and partner are doing a great job in running the hotel. Clean, environment friendly, nice change to have apples instead of biscuits! Amazing how quiet the rooms are. Unique standard of breakfast.
The stay was too short
Breakfast was very good
Fantastic breakfast, lovely friendly staff.
I stayed in superior single - comfortable and nicely furnished. Compact but well equipped en-suite. Excellent breakfast. Close to the sea front and easy walk to centre of town.

Superb breakfast. Clean, well decorated rooms with comfy beds. 1930s themed breakfast room. Friendly staff.
Only book the rooms on the top floor if you are fit and well as there are a lot of stairs to manage....but they are excellent value.
Nice welcome and clean reception Everything explained well Cosy comfy clean room Very comfortable bed Nice clean bathroom Amazing breakfast options Very Eco friendly hotel
I can't think of anything that wasn't good
Everything the hotels offers. Brilliant breakfast
Location. Value for Money. Friendly Staff. Beautiful Decor. Breakfast! - STUNNING!
Poor Wi-Fi Connection.
Good location. Nice decor. Quiet
Decor was Fantastic, Friendly staff, and the information pack was a real gem. Would definitely come again
all was good.
Breakfast Location Super Staff
Wifi range limited Some rooms are definitely better than others Stange mouldy odor in hallways
Two pensioners were put in a twin room 18 and while the room was very good and shared bathroom explained and excellent they pointed out a potential hazard which i think the proprietor should consider. The stairs to room 18 are steep and very close to the room a small unobtrusive gate at the top should be put in place.I point this out as an observation not a critisism.Going to the bathroom in the night from 18 when half asleep is dangerous.
Excellent breakfast menu and easy access to City centre and bars and restaurants of Kemp Town.
Friendly, welcoming staff, great service, a decent shower, comfortable bed..... and the best cooked breakfast I've ever been served in a hotel, anywhere!
Room was quite small. Parking limited.
Great location, very friendly staff and fantastic breakfasts! Couldnt ask for more. Hope to be back again soon.
Very comfortable hotel, with excellent staff, and a superb vegetarian and vegan breakfast option.
Nothing to dislike.
I come to Paskins regularly and always look forward to the individual care and attention given by staff, the delightful and interesting décor and delicious breakfast. Thank you Paskins.
One has to be tolerant of slightly squeaky floors and narrow/steep stairways that are characteristic of these types of terraced, multi-storied Edwardian/Victorian hotels. There is always help on hand with luggage (thank you David) but my advice is to travel light where possible.
Choice of gluten free, soya milk, organic produce - the best breakfast you could imagine with super helpful, friendly staff. Cannot recommend Paskins enough.
