Everything was clear, staff were friendly. It was comfortable clean and beautiful. Wonderful large room too!
No information about the pool times in the room.
The staff were very good. Efficient, polite and nothing was too much trouble.
The mattress on the bed in our room 111 was not comfortable. It was too basic. The pillows could have been better quality. The room otherwise & bathroom were excellent.
We could only stay one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. A lovely lounge to relax in, a very nice dinner that came quickly and was well presented, served in the elegant dining room. We will go back.
Nothing but praise for the welcoming staff. Informative and helpful
That we only stayed for 1 night
- Rural Location - Professional and polite staff - Stylish surroundings - Indoor pool - Sense of history - Communal areas are very classy
I made my original choice based purely on location, as it was extremely local to a meeting I had the following day. After a long journey and a fairly late arrival time I knew that I'd mate a good decision to stay at Passford House Hotel. Great room, very welcoming staff. I was made to feel at home straight away, so much so that I decided against staying nearer the 'bright lights' of Lymington on subsequent visits to the area.
The 4 poster bedroom we stayed in was absolutely the most comfortable night sleep we have ever had. The building feels historic and rustic but with all the modern comforts you need. Excellent service and beautiful gardens what more we could have asked for I don't know couldn't possibly ask for more 10 out of 10
The look of the place the worms off the staf
The toilet they waste water....the tank should have 2 opshns small and large
My friend and I through;y enjoyed our stay at Passford house. It was our first visit but will not be our last. The food was first class and the staff are some of the best We have encountered anywhere. They were helpful but not intrusive, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile! Well done Passford House!
We just felt it would be nicer to have tiles on the bathroom floor instead of carpet.
First impression of bar staff. They didn't have a good understanding of English. Didn't understand what sparkling wine was but eventually offered flat Prosecco in a sherry tumbler. After complaining, the wine was decanted into a flute glass and topped up. On checking out of the hotel they tried to charge more than £19 for this glass of wine. On complaining they reduced the charge to £10. The charge was eventually dropped once referred to the senior manager. Not a good experience!
Cleanliness, Staff, Location, Price.
Everything about this hotel was delightful. It was clean and comfortable whilst retaining lots of character. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and made us feel genuinely welcome. We will definitely return.
Unfortunately the kitchen was undergoing refurbishment while we were there so we were unable to eat at the hotel. We were however informed by email before we arrived so were prepared to eat in town and it didn't spoil our weekend.
Pet friendlyness Staff Room service
Size of room Size of bed Bath room small Amount it cost per night for such a small run down room
Room very confortable and clean, hotel very peaceful, beautiful greens, great velue for money, I really recommned this hotel.
+ beautiful grounds. I instantly asked to stay an extra night based on this. + indoor pool and sauna + useful information and help from some staff
- heating in room not working on first night. - feeling under prssur to checkout when told by a member of staff my room needs to be prepared for another guest even after I had already been told I could have a late checkout online and by another staff member - being charged the wrong price for my stay (although easily changed when I pointed it out)
Oldie worldie atmosphere set deep in the depths of The New Forest. Staff treated me as if I were very special and they could not do enough for me. I ate dinner two of my three night stay just to enjoy the dinning room service. Wonderful stay and will definately go back.
The rain and slightly flooded road to reach hotel...but had I have been "flooded" in and had to stay I would have been very happy.
The ambience and general comfort of the hotel made the very wet weather insignificant. We were looking for a bolt-hole and have found it!
Lack of a lighter evening meal in the Dining Room.
Relaxed. Not 'modernised'. Friendly.
Big meeting took over all areas and made it feel busy.
Nice location nice friendly staff very good breakfast
Water pipes abit noisy late at night and first thing in morning
location, view people so helpful.
The staff were first class The food was excellent The whole atmosphere around the hotel was all so good
Nothing to dislike at all
Gym equipment could have been better More details made available in respect of surrounding countryside-particularly walks
I loved the good food and the staff were really friendly and in a great area! Next time would need more pillows in the room but was a fantastic time there
staff were attentive and a beautiful aspectTo your service with waitresses you employ.a sense of respect was evident.facilities were good .hotel dog was a dream.
Shower was not very good.staff in certain areas didn't appear to understand English and had to repeat what we just said to confirm. Bar stools were wobbely. Not sure about the goose
