Fabulous two night stay. Clean friendly and excellent breakfast. Great location. Will definitely return.
spacious stylish room delicious freshly-cooked breakfast friendly helpful staff superb attention to detail
some slight noise from road
Excellent Food ,good quality. Lovely spacious rooms Great Atmosphere (Nice to be in a family run hotel where they are hands on)
Very noisy extractor fan in bathroom , poor water pressure in shower
The business is both efficient and quirky (in a nice sense), large rooms with good en suite and an excellent menu (both dining room and bar).
The daily room service could have been better, eg tissues weren't replaced and there was an absence of dusting.
The Hotel is an ideal location for touring the Mumbles/Gower. The room was very good with excellent facilities and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty. The Hotel is close to the beach and local pubs, restaurants and the Pier.
Rooms big and comfortable
no buffet at breakfast noise from the kitchen unpleasant in breakfast area Rooms far from main bar/hotel lighting in bathroom too low level overall ok but far too expensive for what it is
COMFY ROOMS VIEWS BREACKFAST VERY GOOD
NO AIR CONDITIONING NO PARKING FACILITY FOR A 5 STAR HOTEL CLEANLINESS NOT PERFECT ESPECIALLY IN BATHROOM
All aspects of our stay were excellent
Local Authority collecting glass bottles early in the morning!!!!!!! Parking was a bit of a problem but we managed and that is outside the control of Patricks
We liked the quirkiness of the hotel and the breakfasts were excellent. the dinner in the hotel was very good if you choose to eat there. There was also a good bar menu.
We stayed in the boat house on the top floor , a wonderful view of the Swansea Bay but a lot of steps ,not good for elderly or disabled also a steep slope to access the boat house.
Lovely atmosphere Very happy friendly staff Excellent home cooked meals inc soup/bread/cakes Fabulous bedrooms
The steepness of the walk up to the flat and the stairs. Our friends were unable to visit our room as they couldn't negotiate the stairs. No wardrobe only a rail in bedroom.
No shower in bathroom, nice big bath but would prefer a shower
The design of the rooms and the food
No sea view because of trees growing at the front although it was advertised as such. A charge of £45 for four drinks and two coffees! Slightly dingy tatty stairway Slightly impersonal service at the end of the stay no one asked about our stay.
Highly recommend great high quality hotel. Fantastic breakfast overall excellent.
Food was excellent and facilities good
Clean room in the new rear building. Good bathroom.
Didn't tell us the restaurant was closed on the night we had booked. Woken up by kitchen extract fan outside our window which sounded like a jump jet taking off. Couldn't close windows to avoid this as there was no air con. You have to use public car parks (and pay for them if you can find a space). Sparse furnishing, for example no suitcase stand.
Good location fab breakfast very friendly helpfull staff
Lack of hotel parking could have cost an extra £15 until staff member told as about free parking , bay view might be better in autumn when trees have no leaves .
I loved the spacious blue bedroom and bathroom. The dinning room was spotlessly clean, crisp white linen and delicious breakfast, with plenty of choices. I didn't eat in the dinning room in the evening as I was on my own, so sat in the bar and had a lighter choice meal. I felt very comfortable sitting there alone. The staff were very friendly, there to help, but not in your face, a good balance.
Nothing I can think of. But weird, the bathroom had something on the floor tiles, which seemed to make my feet slippery on the carpet????
Food was excellent. Room was lovely. Staff are great.
The sea view from our room (3) was almost totally obscured by the trees opposite.and the traffic noise from the road at night meant we didn't get a good night's sleep.
Food, large bedroom, view, fresh milk in fridge.
Needs a shelf in bathroom and chair in bedroom
It is a family run hotel who were very friendly and welcoming as were the staff. The bar is a pleasant place to have a drink and relax. The room was comfortable with a large bed. We would go again.
The newly renovated bathroom had not been thought through with more water on the floor than on you. We did mention this to the owners who gave us extra towels and thanked us for pointing this out.
Excellent food. Excellent walking oportunities
Lovely room, spacious and clean, thoughtful touches such as waffle bath robes, bottled water and toiletries. Breakfast was a real treat.
Our room was opposite a playground area so a bit noisy early evening with window open ( warm evening).
Excellent food and generous sized rooms. Good service with the patrons eager to ensure guests were looked after.
Should have booked with hotel direct, it was £20 night cheaper.
Great room in the Boat House with fab views over Swansea Bay. Excellent breakfast included with price.
