The location and surrounding scenery. The roomsize and balcony was also great. The hotel is in need of a face lift as many varnished surfaces are a bit tired looking and it spoils the hotel in general.

Beautiful place, located in the middle of the park, surrounded by golf course and lakes. Hotel stuff very helpful and friendly.Nice restaurant and good choice of food! I would certainly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again. We were staying in a family room which I found a little too small plus the bathroom could use more deep cleaning. The water pressure in the shower was very poor.

Friendly efficient staff. Pleasant secluded location. Good breakfast. Some decoration in corridors looking a bit tired. Dinner was OK, but was nothing special, vegetables were frozen mixed veg and my bread and butter pudding had been warmed up in the microwave.

This hotel looks and feels like a 4 star, not a 3 star! The staff at the hotel couldnt do enough for you and were all very friendly and professional. Everyone seemed to like working there! The room was clean and nicely furnished. The leisure facilities are great. There are two restaurants on the site. The cafe bar in the daytime offers good food at reasonable prices. The a la carte restaurant has a lovely ambience and great food. Only critism would be theres no fridge/mini bar in the rooms.

It's location is wonderful, and the view from the window over the lake first thing on a frosty morning was stunning. The bar food was very good and the bar staff very courteous. The breakfast ladies were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast food was good. The rooms were a good size. All the the rooms, except one of the 5 I booked, were cold when we arrived because the radiators were not switched on. Although they warmed up quite quickly it would have been much more acceptable if they had been switched on in advance, as it was a very cold day. Also, our Superior room had no tissues and a wonky toilet seat. We also had one normal sized glass and one shot glass sized in the bathroom. My son and Uncle were in single rooms 5 and 6, and because there was a large wedding party in the bar until late my sone was kept awake, which wasn't good the night before a family funeral. The door to the bar, if there is one, should have been shut at about 11 to keep the noise in. The speed bumps were a little too severe and frequent too.

This Hotel and Country Club is very quiet and in a very rural location - a short distance from Wolverhampton. Quite a surprise!! Brent Geese on the lawn were rather special. The entire premises is a bit old-fashioned. The standard rooms were rather poor. That said the staff were most obliging in transferring us to a super room with a view on to the golf course and the lake.

We came to stay as we were attending a wedding at Patshull Hall. Staff were very helpful with taxi's etc. Chamber maids were also very friendly and did not make us feel rushed when we were checking out. Lovely location and facilities, shame we did not have time to sample them all.

The hotel was fairly clean, the hotel staff were friendly and polite. It has very good fitness and leisure facilities. breakfasts were very good. The interior is in need of an update. Cleanliness of the rooms could have been better. (we had a piece of confetti which remained in the centre of the floor in our room for the duration of our two day stay, and, we didnt get married !!). Sausages need cooking much longer, they were real annemic looking.

The restaurant was very good, also the location. The bedroom was a bit "tired" looking. The furniture and carpet needed updating. There was a window but too high to look out of when seated. There was dust on the handrail leading to the room, that could easily be cleaned. The seating in the lounge bar was poor. There was evidence that drinks had been spilt and then dried on the settees.

The Staff were great giving good service, golf facilities are im good fettle as is the spar and gym areas. Room are very dated and in need of refreshing. Costs of food and drink are ridiculous!!! When will they learn bring the costs to a reasonable rate and the experiance would be far greater as would the amount of money they make in the hotel!!!!

We have just had an overnight stay at the hotel which we really enjoyed. The weather was hot and sunny which only added to the enjoyment and allowed us to enjoy the lovely views. The hotel is value for money and the location great for those wanting a rural treat. Food in the hotel was good and room was pleasant. The only grumble with the room was the loose toilet seat which was not so pleasant. Overall a very lovely stay.

We have been to the hotel before but this is the first time we have stayed. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the very beautiful entrance and this carried on until the minute we booked out.
