The building itself is lovely and in a very good location for travellers using the station opposite. The bar is very nice and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The décor and general feel of the building is tired and dated, it could be an amazing hotel if just a bit more time and money was spent on it. Also, when requesting a quiet room I did not appreciate being in a room facing the station with very thin single glazed windows and therefore being disturbed all night by the passing trains.

Right across the road from the train station. Hearty breakfast and pub meals. Within reasonable walking distance to main shopping area. Perfect on a budget needing access to the trains Unileaver factory lit up and working all night. Busy road out front.

Absolutly nothing. The Hotel is pure grot. It was built in the 1850's and apart from an avocado coloured bath in the 1950's it is as is! Brown paint. Green bathroom suite. Red duvert covers. No cask beer. Dinning room closure at 8.30 pm. No night staff. No secure parking.

The Hotels position and its part in the history of the town, the staff are very helpful, but are struggling through a difficult complete renovation, but the new owners are doing their best to return this old lady to her former glöry Sadly this 6 star hotel has been run down by previous owners and is now just like the town, worn out and need of a complete makeover

The location was good right next to the rail station and a 10 minute walk to Warrington town centre. The staff were cheerful and helpful The decor was dated and shabby, everything on the food menu was with chips. The room was tired looking, No shower gels supplied except on first night. Very limited tea/coffee facility in room. Only had wifi in public areas.

We always stay here when we visit Warington, the staff treat us like family. Climbing two flights of stairs, we should have requested first floor.
