Whether you prefer lingering over afternoon tea on the lawn or taking a ready prepared pack lunch and exploring the hills, The Patterdale is the perfect base for your Lake District stay.
Those rooms situated on the front of the hotel have extended views down the valley and of the surrounding fells. Lakeland rooms are subject to availability and include a supplement payable locally.
There is a lift to all floors and limited ground floor rooms available on request.
Nestled between 2 mountain ranges, Patterdale and its surrounding area offers some of the world's most scenic walks and trails with Keswick, Ambleside and Penrith, all within 15 miles. Close by is the village of Glenridding from where the Ullswater steamer boat offers daily sailings to Howtown and Pooley Bridge.
Other local amenities include water sports and sailing schools, lakeside walks, pony treks and climbing schools. For families, a variety of visitor attractions are within a short drive.
Please note that there is a 2-night minimum stay at weekends.
The hotel does not accommodate single sex parties.

The atmosphere was good, as were the staff. The food was quite good, very promptly served with winning smiles by your staff. Your staff were very informative of all we asked. Well done Patterdale Our bathroom room was quite cramped, not used to them that small. Also, We signed up via the internet and were unaware of your special offers |

Staff very helpful, arrived late and they saved some dinner for us I was not given the direct line number of the hotel on my booking form only the 0845 number to the choice hotels switchboard. I had to look up the direct line on the internet to ensure I could speak to someone at the hotel about my booking. |

Very nice, clean and great location for the fells. The evening meal was rushed though as it was served almost straight away course after course, it took us 23mins to eat 3 courses!! Good value though |
