We loved our room it was a suit. I smoke and there was a small patio area where I was able to sit out in the morning. Also there was a small lounge area. I'm an early riser so I enjoyed using the lounge area to read and log on and access my emails without having to disturb my wife who was fast asleep in the snug and comfortable bedroom. The breakfast was delicious, my wife particularly enjoyed the stewed fruit compot and the full english. Everything was executed to a very hight standard. It was a delightful stay. It was difficult to turn the radiators down so the room was very cosy but rather that than it be cold! |

Liked: People running the Hotel.... friendly and helpful. Good breakfast in charming breakfast room with lots of modern seaside pictures by a local artist.Very clean. Good decoration. Good bed. Nice atmosphere. Good view of the sea from a comfortable bedroom. Warm room. Good location...able to walk everywhere we wanted. Pleasant looking building. Despite the traffic it wasn't as noisy as we had first feared. The room was on the small side for the amount of money we paid. |

Welcome / friendliness of owners. Quietness, in spite of overlooking main road. 2 minutes from beach. Spotless cleanliness. Recent, tasteful modernisation. Intriguing pictures on walls. Good breakfast. No chair / stool in bathroom, with lack of clothes-hooks / shelving. |

This hotel is an absolute must! The decor is New England-style , everywhere light, airy and spotlessly clean. The food was superb....has to be the best full english breakfast ever! The service was excellent and, quite honestly, it's hard to find fault with anything. Will definitely go again! |

Probably the best hotel we have stayed in in Eastbourne. Would highly recommend it. Best breakfast buffet in town! Room was slightly small, but nothing to dislike about it. |

The care and attention that has been put into the hotel. The excellent, varied, buffet breakfast. The fruit compote was the best we've had. Pale curtains that are lined and also a roller blind. Sufficient tea/milk supplies in the room. A clock. The photo shows grass and trees. We had thought that there was a garden, but the photo was taken from the park across the road. The poor tv reception. |

The very friendly owners. Exceptionally clean hotel and a good hearty buffet breakfast. About 10 minutes walk to the pier and the centre of the town. If we were to return to Eastbourne we would certaily consider this Hotel again |

The hotel was just generally wonderful - we arrived as a typical fraught and tired london family and left feeling fully recharged. A tiny thing, but off street parking is very limited. |

Personal friendly service with attention to detail. The hotel had an individual character so lacking in the homogenous style of many other hotels |

The owners of the Hotel were both charming and helpful. We were impressed with our rooms we stayed in the accomodation for four(adjoining rooms with bath/shower & toilet) all tastefully decorated with our two teenage daughters on the ground floor. The bathroom was in our girls room but this was not a problem for us. |

The hotel is in a great location with the ocean just across the street. Parking was provided, which was a real bonus, and it was easy to walk to everything in the village. The bedroom was charming, the breakfast quite superb, and the room where the breakfast was served was bright and comfortable. It would have been helpful to have a map of the town available (or posted on a wall) with easy information on how to find sites or to get to certain highways. |

The two owners of the hotel were friendly, keen to please and had an excellent sense of design. They made our stay very pleasant. they and the hotel was exceptionally clean and I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends. It was a cheerful hotel and the food was good and the owners took a real interest in their guests. Beats most other places I have stayed in and I am an experienced... not really but think they should say that balcony is shared or find some way of dividing it which could be easy to do. |
