It was situated well for the rail station. Most things!Needs redecorating!Shower didn't work.Bar open eves - but unfriendly atmosphere. Don't have breakfast - extra charge and very poor value - go to the Tiffins cafe down the road. |

It was clean & functional and very reasonably priced. Facilities were good, staff were friendly & helpful, beds clean & comfortable. The en suite provision was adequate, professional & classy but the whole experience was let down by the observations below. The room we stayed in (41) was let down by badly stained carpets, stained & damaged wallpaper and cheap, shoddy furniture. Investment on this side of things would be a good thing! |

The staff. The lady on front desk was very nice, pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was very nive, bright, clean and completely out of sync with the rest of the room. (45) I hated the decor, it had the feeling of a run down hostel. During my stay everytime someone walked in their room, my door rattled. I hated the fact the lock on my door did not work and put the stool in front of the door. It was a basic room but I wont be returning as I did not feel safe there. |

The location and ample parking Was put in a smoking room that was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Tea making facilities, but no milk. Walls very thin as was kept awake by person next door snoring. When returned to hotel in evening and asked to buy a bottle of water, was told how much and given the bottles and money taken without another word, very rude! |

Breakfast service was excellent as was the breakfast itself. Staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel was tired. Could do with redecoration. Lift too small and even then there were steps to negotiate. However the room rates were reasonable and must be taken into account. |

It's withini 5 mins of Norwich station, and 10 minutes from the historic city centre; so is superbly located for those arriving by train. A quiet, pleasant stay with warm, helpful staff. Like many ageing buildings, the deocr is rather rundown. |

The staff were very kind and helpfull, I would categorise this as a cheap and cheerfull hotel, the hallways were very dark and everything looked tired and dated, but at that price?. Yes the staff that I met could not have been kinder or more helpfull. |

The upstairs corridors were dingy, the carpets were badly worn and stained. In the bedroom was a note stating that if extra pillows were required to call reception. On contacting reception we were told there were no spare pillows. There were stains on the bedroom carpet and in the bathroom the ceiling was mouldy and the shower tap would not turn off properly. No restuarant for evening meals. even though restaurant is advertised. The whole place looked unkempt and most uninviting.I travel all over the UK and this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. |

Nothing This hotel was one of the scruffiest I have stayed in for a long time. The room was tired, carpet stained, bathroom barely clean, toilet flush noisy, shower cold. The room was dark and dingy and only a single bed. Returning the key to reception on going out is totally outdated. No restaurant. |

Well situated for the town centre. Comfortable and friendly. Needs a little updating. No dining facilities and breakfast was extra. Had to wait ages to be let in during the evenng. Bath edge was quite dangerous, very jagged. Needed new bath panel! |
