Friendly and helpful staff. Biggest problem was the lack of control over the heating. My radiator was on full and there was no thermostatic control to lower the heat. Consequently the room was stiflingly hot. Only option seemed to turn radiator off completely which would have meant that the room would have been cold in the morning, howver one of the staff in the bar was able to lend me a small fan. |

An excellent breakfast We should have been consulted before being allocated a 'smoking' room. Generally there was a feeling of an uncared for and 'hopefully' soon to be refurbished air about the whole hotel. |

rooms were clean and comfortable my wife is disabled and the lift was to small for me to get in with her in her wheelchair. also there was no where to have an evening meal |

I only used the hotel to stay for the night and I found the room quite comfortable. The reception staff was also very friendly and helpful. |

Politeness and helpfulness of reception staff was good, choice at breakfast good, ease of parking, easy to find hotel. First impressions poor, rooms very basic, plumbing needs attention, price of breakfast expensive in comparison to other venues and in relation to cost of dinner, bed was uncomfortable, carpet needed a good clean, room needed decorating. |

Not a lot ! Truly awful mattress, circa 1970 decor, ancient (and smelly) carpet, bathroom stank of old tobacco - the list goes on and on. Absolute rip off and the staff weren't even vaguely interested in why we were checking out one night early - said that the room was very popular with another guest who had stayed there for years. Spent the following night in a Travel Inn, which was in a different class |

The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed linen and towels fresh and clean, We were kept awake by a group of young men singing for about two hours until 2 in the morning. We had to get up very early so this was not appreciated, we did not contact reception as felt this would only escalate the problem! |
