I loved the flexibility of renting a cottage, you get everything you need and the ability to do what ever you please when ever you wish! The setting is lovely and has a lovely air of community about it, just a lovely place for a peaceful break away from the norm :-) The lady who runs it is super friendly and likes to ensure you have a great stay, nothing is too much bother! I read a message in the guest book that 'its like staying with old friends' - this is deffinately how it feels so your totally at ease! There is a rail way line running almost adgacent to the cottages, that isnt a problem as I live by one anyway but might bother you if your unaware before hand.

It was in a good location and a much better alternative to a B&B. It was great to have some living space and kitchen facilities

Although the owner was not seen due to the hours we worked she made sure to leave us her number in case we needed anything. She had left us tea coffee and sugar. The cottage was beautiful and more like home from home. The inside was comfortable and warm. We will be staying there agian even if we are not working in the area, it will be a lovely place to stay summer or winter. Thank you for everything

It was a lovely location and very clean. The cottage was very nice and very peaceful. The crockery didn't match and it was a mismatch of glasses and cups. Felt that with a little investment in this it would be much better.

It was quiet and peaceful Difficult to find - the road name Buckle Street did not appear on any streets! The 4-poster bed advertised was not there The web site led us to believe there was hotel somewhere nearby, but there wasn't a hotel

We were expected and welcomed. Fiona called me the day before to make sure everything was okay and to tell us arrangements, and then made a point of visiting us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. Facilities and cleanliness were excellent. I would stay there again.
