It was half way for parties to travel and easy to find. Being beside Honeybourne station makes it easy for access by public transport.
We didn't like the very poor internet connection as this was important for this trip. The signal needed boosting as most of the time it was too weak to use.
Too bad there is no one to receive you. Some personal contact would be appriciated.
England at its best
I loved staying at peace haven.... It had everything we could wish for.
The public transport to and from was poor... It would have been much better if we had a car...
Clean and well presented holiday cottage in a peaceful location which is ideal for touring the cotswolds.
Nice set out
I have a bad back bed was to soft for me
Very clean and comfortable place and well set up for self-catering. Good for a small family on a drive holiday.
Small narrow staircase was hard for luggage; We chose this place because it was located between the Cotswolds and Stratford Upon Avon. It was good for this but in retrospect it would have been better to stay somewhere I a town with a bit of character rather than the middle of nowhere.
Accomodation well placed near railway line. Not much in way of shops but nice walk about to the the Thatched pub. On the whole it's a very cosy and snug place. The open site room for extra info, equipment, games/activities, CD's/DVD's, books etc. Convenient for Stratford, Chipping Campden and other places of interestetc.
2 small key issues -Poor road signage when coming in from village towards Honeybourne station - sat nav using post code for the site takes you way past the turning to the entrance. Only saw the sign on return down the road. Did mentionthis as the people in neighbouring barn had same problem, but was informed that they are not able to place a sign nearer junction facing both ways as it would not be on the sites land. Also shower power was low due to a water leak at hose entrance to shower box - was informed it had recentlybeen replaced, so maybe it had not been connected properly.
Very comfortable and clean holiday let in a good location for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds
Wi-fi not great.
Very comfortable and clean. Dog friendly. Nice area. Very private.
Well organised and 'customer facing'. Good level of equipment.
Relies on customer to highlight deficiencies due to limited turnaround time.
It was great for our purpose visiting family just nearby lovely spot and accomodation
The shared garden and patio area
Very untidy floors and sofas and grimey surfaces throughout . Ended up buying cleaning products and doing it ourselves. Bathroom was dirty, shower was cracked and barely any power from the shower. Cobwebs through the whole cottage. Needs updating!
Ideal place to stay for your visit to the Cotswolds. Cottages have everything you need for your stay. Nice touch with welcome tea and coffee and biscuits on arrival. A selection of games and books in reception for use and nice bbq area.
Beds were comfortable
We were there during a hot stormy period and the velux windows let in rain so had to be closed while it was raining so had to be closed, which made the bedrooms very hot, stuffy and claustrophobic. The windows are badly designed as the should open from the bottom.
6 cottages around a courtyard, very quiet, no noise or disturbance from the other guests. Short walk to Honeybourne Station, and into the village for pub, shops. Great not to need the car!
Room nice and clean, location good.
Spring beds were old and uncomfortable. Had to pad the mattress with duvet to get to sleep.
Good living space. Location was good.
Two beds squeezed on a landing with skylights above. Was so hot only way to ventilate was to have skylight open but got wet in bed when it rained! Upstairs floor and stairs were so creaky made the stay unpleasant. Left a day early.
Staff, location an in fact all of it
The apartments were well equipped very clean and beautifully decorated. The owner had thought of every little thing and there were coffee making facilities and fresh milk waiting when we arrived. The bed was so comfortable - 2 great night.s sleep and a great location easy access to Stratford Evesham and a great day out in Warwick Castle. Thanks to Fiona's forethought we took her recommendation for a great balti house in Bidford -on-Avon. This really was a perfect weekend break and WE WILL definitely be coming back.
I have no negative comment to make - this accommodation was excellent.
Staff were extremely helpful and Cottage was superb
Nothing at all
Good location to explore the Cotswolds
The cottage needs a thorough clean as it was dirty and full of cobwebs. We had to scrub the sinks, kitchen work top and bath before use as they were filthy. We also had to wash plates, bowls and cutlery before use as they were dirty. The lino in kitchen/living area was lifting and the sofa smelt and was very uncomfortable. Even though we stayed in May, we found the cottage to be quite cold and not the cosy retreat that we were expecting. We found the owner to be rude and abrupt when we asked for information about the local area and were made to feel that we were troubling her. The wi-fi did not work for the whole time that we were there (mentioned this to the owner who was not bothered) and mobile phone signal worked intermittently. Would not return.
