On the old main street, near the center of Kenilworth, Milsoms Hotel has boutique-style rooms with private bathrooms and a superb Loch Fyne seafood restaurant.

The Oak is a traditional village pub on the outskirts of Coventry, very close to Coventry Airport. The pub is a 10 minute drive from the center of town. Major highways are easily accessible.
Score from 216 reviews Very good
Although clean the hotel is looking a little tired and worn both inside and out. Some refreshment and renovation wouldn't go amiss especially as the price is similar to other more quality hotels in the area.
Very friendly staff.
The shower was very poor
Nice warm room with bath.
Used to do eggs benedict at breakfast - not on the menu this time - was looking forward to this. - No extra pillows in room.
People Food Free WiFi Location
Standard of room presentation - needs painting, new carpet etc. Having to pay £5 for the car park
A bath rather than a shower Tea-making facilities with biscuits Excellent service Good menu
Excellent breakfast Staff all welcoming
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good restaurant
bed was a bit hard
I liked the fact that being disabled we could park the car right near the room! Also the fact that they served in the restaurant until 10.30pm which was incredible for us after a nasty 3 hour sit on the A14
It was a shame it was raining as we got wet going from room to restaurant but that's nobody's fault! A short cut though the building to restaurant would be good!
The staff were charming but I think they are struggling with premises which are in need of refurbishment.
Didn't like first room which was offered (too claustrophobic and no proper window or outlook) but second room , in a newer annex was much better but still showed various signs of overdue maintenance required.
Breakfast but only scrambled eggs
Paying for parking
the fact that they eventually decided that they will change our room!!
The heating did not work and the room was freezing when we arrived. They said they will try and find a person to solve the problem. We left our bags and went in search of a restaurant and some warmth. On our return (3-hours later), they managed to get one small heater working, the room was still uncomfortably cold. My husband complained but they seemed not concerned. Trying to run a hot bath to warm us up.....the hot water literally trickled...2 drops at a time. It would have taken us at least 40 minutes to get enough water to have a foot bath. We booked a family room ( 2 adults and a child), but they only gave us ONE towel!! I then went down to complain AGAIN!!, and then they decided to change our room. Moved us out of the main building to an annex(?). Also 1 x double bed, and 1 x single bed, but it was warm and much more comfortable. Shower had a gas-heater that worked well.
Simple on-line booking. Simple booking in procedure. Pleasant staff. Excellent room. Would stay there again.
No complaints whatsoever.
Position of hotel.
Being charged £5.00 for parking, on the hotel's grounds. Tip park on road, ample parking. Socket hanging of the wall. Tea for one cup each.
location staff friendly
wardrobe in room was a joke for a hotel, hotel was noisy
the staff was very friendly, the location, the hotel is easy to reach, also it has a restaurant inside. the room had a little independent kitchen, toilet was clean.
no hot water for all a Sunday in December, the heating working too high or nothing, really bad manteinance service
Room sizes were good.. booked three rooms for one night.. breakfast was lovely.. happy chef and lots of food Staff were polite and courteous
Having to pay additional parking fee in private location.. not the norm.. not reimbursed for parking fee and told it had been.. no hot water in the morning for shower. Bed uncomfortable and rickety. I booked three deluxe rooms that did not live up to expectations
Closeness to town centre and friendly staff
The noisy room.kitchen fan kept us awake although it was switched off after a call to reception" this happened on both nights of our stay. Staff seemed to be aware of the problem so why has it not been rectified.
Every member of staff that we had contact with did their job extremely well and were very pleasant.
We had dinner in the restaurant, and found the portions to be far too big. (Unnecessarily so) My chilli con carne was served with rice and a large bowl of chips. My wife's lasagne (?) came with toast and a large bowl of chips.
Excellent service and comfort.
The 2 single beds were very narrow (2'6") -
Bed was comfortable
Too themed. Communal areas very poor. Needs a good refurbishment. Had to pay extra for parking
Very hot everywhere in the hotel and had to leave the windows open.Noisy as lots of creaking floorboards so people above us seemed to be constantly moving backwards and forwards. No free parking,it cost 5GBP/day
Rooms and facilities very clean. Staff friendly, good location. Decent in room facilities eg Tea/coffee etc.
Room extremely small and cramped to be billed a double- a decent sized single at best. Shower did not provide hot water.. Finally not very clear, when booking, that the hotel charges £5 per night for parking! Info is buried in the admin print below the room rate data which is in much larger typeface!
Convenient for my purpose. Friendly, cheerful, helpful staff. Car parking availability. Adequate breakfast arrangements. Quiet.
I drove passed it; the restaurant name was more prominent than the hotel name. I booked on-line; the £5 car park charge was a surprise (but I can see the reason). The bed 'rocked' as the base had broken. While this did not spoil sleep, it was a bit disconcerting. I could not turn off the sub-titles on the TV, so I switched it off and went to sleep.
very clean and ideally sited for visiting friends.bedroom on small side, but adequate.
Breakfast was good
having to pay for parking also the room had cobwebs, mould & in need of redecorating & a good clean.
