All staff very good and helpful.
Much of dinner menu not to my liking. Dinner not served on Sunday. Had to go out. Bedroom very small.
You get what you pay for!
Stayed here for 2 nights, first night we ate in the hotel restaurant, food was lovely but a bit pricey, especially the drinks. Breakfast came in room cost and was very nice. Room was quite small but had everything we needed in it. Comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Locatiin was great, close to plenty of shops etc. Pub opposite (The Green Man) is great for a meal and very good for your money. All round enjoyable weekend.
Price if food and drinks. Standard double room was very small.
Breakfast was good. Location was good.
Poor shower didn't work no hot water. Very uncomfortably small room. Restricted highly priced menu for Dinner. Having to pay for parking not advertised of told about on phone unethical
Décor of room was modern.
Cramped feeling of stairways/corridors. Sunday breakfast 7.00 -9.30, "but last orders at 9.15". This is a bit early for a Sunday-should be till at least 10. Scrambled egg tasted like it had been lying around since 7.00. One rasher of bacon- bit stingy. Fruit was poor. Watch out for £5 parking charge.
Pleasent staff and nice surrondings
cold shower in the morning.
The staff were extremely friendly
the staff is excellent the sleep facilities the free wifi breakfast selection
the facilities that should be refurbished
Breakfast good for me gluten free not a hassle friendly staff..room good
Shower no power hard to take a quick shower
Staff friendly under difficult conditions.
Double bed pushed against wall in small room ,meaning getting out involved clambering . Inadequate room to move easily on the bedside which wasn't against the wall.
Beautiful room on second floor. Huge bathroom, big bath and proper sized bath sheets :)
Room on 2nd floor, windy staircase is difficult with luggage. Hotel right on road so too noisy. Traffic started at 5am, hence not a really good nights sleep.
Very friendly and polite staff who cared about your comfort. Excellent food, nicely presented. Proximity of the hotel to the Dressage Championships.
Very tight double reversing turning staircase Street facing room (second floor) a little noisy with traffic during the night Hot water only available at certain times of the day. Paying £5. 00p a day for parking.
Dangerous wires sticking out in the bathroom plaster patches on the wall. No children's menu for evening meal and unlit car park
The rooms were very tidy and clean. They are a little dated but they have all the amenities a person would need from a hotel.
The wifi system is annoying as codes continually need to be entered everytime the internet is used.
Friendly staff great breakfast
Shower was broken and wifi log inwas cumbersome and only allowed one log in
Great value, handy to an excellent Indian restaurant that gives 40% discount to locals !! Can't recall the name, can you Rachel ? Lovely sleep through exhaustion, fantastic breakfast, even if we nicked a couple of bananas to take to the show !!!
Really ? You had to ask ? The parking arrangements !! Although Rachel did laugh directing my entry and exit !!
Breakfast was good
Image of single room showed a double bed but was a single room in the attic
Friendly staff Good room and facilities Nice breakfast
Shower not clean hairs in tray! Bath surround loose/ broken Noisey guests at 3am and not managed by night porter. Bar not stocked. No beer on tap only bottles Additional car park costs hidden in small print.
My wife and I thought the staff and facilities were excellent
There was nothing we didn't like
Was clean and comfortable
£5 parking charge not mentioned when booking and poor wifi
Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful.
Thought the room this time was "claustrophobic" compared to last time. We thought there wasn't sufficient choices on the evening meal menu.
Staff were pleasant and helpful and the 'coconut lagoon' restaurant was one of the best asian meals we have ever tasted....superb!!
The mattress was too hard, the shower flow was very poor, almost non -existent and the room above had very very creaky floorboards, which made a terrible noise when anybody moved...very annoying.
The breakfast was ok.
We booked two rooms. One was fine but the other was the smallest twin room we have ever seen. We had to squeeze sideways past the bed to get to the wardrobe. There was a smell of damp. We stayed for two nights and on the second day our room was not cleaned and we arrived back in the evening to find unmade beds and damp towels. It certainly is not a 3* hotel, nor is it in any way luxurious as claimed on their website.
Room and bathroom very small
The staff was very nice, the breakfast very good, and the bus station is just a few steps from the hotel.
I had a room in the attic was fine for me, the only big problem being that it was very noisy. You could hear everything from the rooms nearby and from the stairs. Also, during the night there was a constant noise coming maybe from the air conditioning system.
