Calling the small rock landscaped pond "the lagoon" on the site map could be considered optimistic by some, but it did make us smile. |

Very efficient friendly service and excellent staff. Superb Indian food; comfortable lounge. Overall cleanliness and attention to detail. Small single room in roof space, but fulfilled need for well-equipped clean overnight accommodation at reasonable price. |

The linen was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The facilities in the room were good - safe, hairdryer, ironingboard etc. Checking in and checking out was very slow. The staff have a very cramped area to work in - under the stairs which is a bit odd. The first impression is poor because of this. The Restaurant - Raffles - was absolutely fabulous. |

Breakfast and most of the staff were very helpful. My 'deluxe' double room was very small, very low ceilings( I am not tall) in bedroom and bathroom.Only had a ceiling window-blind didnt work.Hot water trickled out for a bath.2nd floor-very narrow steep staircase -no lift -and no offer of help with luggage.Early morning call 15 mins late. |

Hotel close to some lovely restaurants, which was ideal Little noisey in the morning people banging doors upon leaving and you could hear a bath being run up stairs, not a manger problem |

The room was very clean & actually looked how it did in the photos. The breakfasts where really good, probably the best we have had in a long time. The only complaint and I feel quite petty about saying anything is that there was no mirror near the hair drier!! |

Location The price of the room was far too much for the tpe of room we were given. The hotel wanted to charge us a daily rate for parking on the premises yet we wer paying guests and the car park wasalways empty! The room was extremely basic. There was a huge beam over the bath/shower so you had to be carefull not to bump your head. |

Very Friendly staff. excellent restaurant in the hotel. Executive double room was a bit small but clean and nicely decorated.Good for the price.The club room was very nice with a great bathroom (but see below) one of the rooms we booked was a smoking room so we had to air it for a few hours.before using. This was booked for 3 teenagers and so thankfully they were not that fussy. I would have had to ask for another room. The hallways look a little tatty but our room was fine. |

Very helpful and flexible staff eg I asked to move to a non smoking area and they obliged Penny pinching approach. Very poor quality of breakfast for £8. Car Parking another £5 extra and they even added 10p to my newspaper |

The food No interent access because the hotel had not paid the bill to the provider. Bathroom was dangerous, had to climb over the toilet to get in the shower. Fittings like curtains were getting shabby and did not close |
