Comfy Value for money
Noisy as central london.
I have stayed here loads and I always have a great experience. Good value for money with a nice selection for breakfast.
If possible, try to get a room at the back of the property. The traffic is pretty incessant
The staff was great!
Staff were welcoming and very helpful, room was cosy and the bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good!
I liked the location of the hotel, it was easily accessible. The staffs were quiet nice and receptive except for Martin who was not as friendly. WiFi works very well
I do not like the fact that the hotel doesn't have a lobby or lounge. The breakfast was not nice, stayed for 12 days and only went down for breakfast twice. The double room was not spacious.
Clean tidy Quite(at rear of hotel)
Bed Tea/coffee/milk not replaced no lift steep staicase(stayed on top floor)
Breakfast was nice and staff were friendly.
Reception staff not really friendly or helpful. Room was very stuffy. Bathroom was tiny...when you sit on the toilet your knee is touching the wash basin.
Absolutely delighted with our stay! All the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good.We had a lovely quiet room.Location was excellent for our show at Hammersmith Apollo and walks on the Thames Path.Would definitely recommend and will return.Thank you! Great value.
Nothing to dislike!
Straightforward good plain accommodation at a good price
Because of mobility problems, on our arrival, the staff moved us from the 3rd floor to the ground floor, without even being asked, superb care and understanding.
Friendly staff Close to various tube stations and restaurants
Very small rooms Small breakfast room - we had to stand in line to wait for a table!
The hotel was lovely and clean and it was situated within walking distance of the Hammersmith Apollo.
That I could only stay one night!!!
Very noisy street. Wooden floors, so even more noise. All together, I couldn't sleep here.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Location was great - close to both Central Line and Piccadilly Line. Our room and ensuite were small but for two nights were adequate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - the dining room, food and staff.
Unfortunately our room smelt of cigarette smoke.
Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good Breakfast.
All the stairs (i was on top floor) no offer of help from staff with all my bags and suitcase and i struggled! Small room. Shower not great, it was difficult setting it at the correct temperature. Other guests slamming their doors.
very hard to fall asleep due to the street noise. very unkind and unhelpful service
The biscuits were nice
We felt very uncomfortable when we arrived as we had to go to reception and it was like a living room with a gang of men sat around staring at you. We went to our room and it stank of smoke. There were stains on the floor and hairs in the shower. The traffic was very loud and we could here it all night. When we went to breakfast in the morning it was a domestic kitchen with staff cooking and other staff stood around watching you. We felt very uncomfortable and intimidated we couldn't talk to each other over breakfast as we were always being watched. We weren't even comfortable to complain as we felt so intimidated. All the hotels had different business names on the door but they were all linked together inside and ran by the same people it seemed extremly dishonest and dodgy We will never return here again.
Hi Customer Service, Hope your having a nice day. The story goes as follows (apologies for the initial e-mail the hotel had upset me somewhat at the time) I authorised payment on Monday for 85pounds (the hotel usually states that they pay in full on arrival). The next day I was advised that the payment had not gone through by the evening when returning from work. My keycard did not open my door and as such queried with the hotel. They advised that the they were unable to take the payment. I therefore paid in borrowed cash for that night; the hotel clerk advised that if I could not pay I should check out. I pleaded stating that I will get in contact with my finance however I was unable to do so that early in the morning and could not be late for work. I therefore checked out as advised and believed that no further action was required – I had not wished to cancel the room and as such would of paid and stayed; on Wednesday when checking into Sapphire hotel they then took me to the original hotel I was staying in and advised there was an outstanding balance plus my booking. I paid this and they advised that booking.com will have to refund the money (£272 extra). I now have 2 rooms for 1 person over four nights. I called Booking.com to help resolve who advised that the initial booking had now been cancelled (as the Hotel also advised that they were obliged to do as Booking.com stated). I was then advised by Booking.com that a refund will be expected by Friday and if none is received to contact Booking.com customer services. When contacting on Friday the hotel refused to pay the refund stating they were “protecting business interests” and that “I only had myself to blame” for the predicament. Pearl Hotel then advised that I had to contact my bank to recall the payment (which I have done and entered a dispute with Barclays). During this process I have been told to “shut up” that I am “Messing them around”. Which seems unlikely as.
Over priced and filthy! My room had a broken mirror, stained beds, the worst nights sleep! I travel a lot for business and this is one of the most over priced and dirtiest hotel I've stayed in
The staffs are really nice and helpful, breakfast is really good.
It's really really noisy if your room is in front, the walls are not sound proof, so you can clearly here your neighbours talking and the noise from the street through out the night.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was OK. Bed was quite comfortable.
Room was tiny (in attic) and very noisy even with window shut. Bathroom stank of stale cigarette smoke. Shower was a bit feeble and lost pressure sporadically (whilst I had hair full of shampoo!)
very good breakfast, lovely blond hostess, and very pleasant. wifi was good and fast.
four-floor walk-up rooms are hard to get to, while the steet noise keep me awake most of the night, even with the faux "double-glazed" window (which obviously didn't do a normal job).
staff not friendly. If you make a mistake when booking or you have an emergency and want to change the date, that's not possible.
Very, very clean! and friendly helpful staff. Single room was on the first floor, not in basement - thank you for that!
If you have windows overlooking main street may be a bit noisy; but it's not hotel fault...
