Loved this guest house. Very friendly staff and the room was superb just sorry we hadn't booked for another night to appreciate it fully.

Letting us in an hour early owing to heavy rain. Fantastic location parking easy. Great English breakfast room facilities 10 out of 10 lovely comfortable bed. Tea coffee making facilities and biscuits too we couldn't have asked for more. TV & internet all provided .Owner's staff so friendly and welcoming we totally loved it. Worth every £ you won't beat it book it! Anybody complaining about the Pebbles need to get a life! We loved it thank you so much Thomas & Helen E

Great hotel, standards excellent. Staff friendly and food tasty! In the perfect location opposite the beach. Only a short walk to adventure island and southend peer.

Everybody very friendly room wonderfull and the food was excellent..

Nick and Kerry, the owners, were absolutely charming. The room was stylish and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely - lots of different fresh fruits in separate bowls, which meant you could choose your favourites! Have a great holiday in Majorca and best of luck with the new baby!

We had a very pleasant room at the front of the building. It was light and comfortable. We had window boxes of flowers on the window sills which were lovely. Staff were friendly. As we were leaving the owner came out to have a word which was a nice gesture.

A nice hearty breakfast but felt a little squashed up in the dining room.

family owned guest house, extremely amenable and helpful, parking available directly in front of the guest house, clean and comfortable.

drainage in ground floor shower very slow to drain away, slight smell from drain.

Good selection of teas. Good veggie sausages. Good location. They brought some toys for my son.

Extremelly small room even though we made a booking for 2 people & a child. Asked for twin beds & got a double bed in a room facing the backyard & the smoking area. Bathroom very small, no bath. Breakfast was awfull! The plates were side plate size, with about 2 soup spoons of beans, 2 tomatoes, 1 fried egg. The veggie sausages were great. Only 1 slice a toast given, had to ask for more to be told that I had to wait for the waitress to come & ask me if I wanted more... The breakfast room is very small & clausthopobic. The waitresses greeted us by saying they weren't expecting a child even though we booked it! It's not a place for families & if you just want to wind down from a busy life this is not the place. Too small everywhere & too many rules.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the view of Thames Estuary was splendid, the TV had lots & lots of channels, the shower was just right. The breakfast was just perfect, plenty of choice, served by friendly staff & no rush. All in all very little to complain about!

The balcony, the view, the hosts, breakfast room, white table cloths, breakfast, bits of fruit and berries, lovely pictures and decorations on walls, calm, cozy room, settee in room, "strange" entrance to rooms;), hospitality tray, daffodils in vase, front garden, the name "Pebbles" flowering bushes:)

Bed a bit on the soft side, one single tap with mixed hot/cold water in bathroom would be nice, fresh croissants for breakfast as an option, also maybe slices of cheese?
