Score from 1071 reviews Good
nice, clean and new rooms close to bus stops
wifi is expensive Peckham is not the nicest neighbourhood
Rooms were quite cheap, blackout curtains kept room dark which was good as we were working night shifts
Reception staff were quite rude. You have to pay £10 a day for parking and £10 a day for wifi. May as well spend £60 and go to a travel lodge!
Breakfast is expensive and a bit difficult to get around for a non- driver
use of parking cleanliness cold breakfast
layout of breakfast room, tables wobble-lots of them lack of easy chair in bedroom
Friendly staff, shops nearby, clean room, close to the city centre.
Had to pay for the wifi.
Wifi is paid
Location was good for us as we had a family wedding to attend. Staff were helpful.
The family room we were in (236) was inadequate and felt more like a 2 Star or a hostel room. The bathroom was clean but the sink leaked from the bottom. You couldn't have a shower without soaking the whole bathroom floor as it was the wet room Type of shower. There were two double beds and only one bedside cabinet. Worst of all the room was freezing and there was not one mirror anywhere.
Location is good
It was near a weatherspoons therefore good value drinks and food much cheaper than hotels breakfast - hotel was quiet
Room facilities rusty bins - shower could of been replaced , beds very hard asked for more pillows as very flat which j did get straightaway , parking not great as very small however did park . Unfortunate have to pay daily £10 when booked in the hotel .
bedsheets were filthy
Noisy people on the corridors after 11PM
Room was clean
No wardrobe or draws. Shower leaked in bedroom. Iron leaked which we lent.
Bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful, not very friendly.
Room was in the basement, pretty noisy. WIFI 3 pounds for 24hrs
Small, clean , comfortablish , bit cell like , decent a/c.
Quite noisey outside at night . Tiny out of reach window
Booked a double room with no window in short notice at a very reasonable price. We arrived early and were checked in with no problems. Room was larger than I expected with space enough to store our luggage, and the en suite bathroom was small but tidy. Bed was very comfortable and the staff well presented and polite. I'd definitely stay again.
Bus stop right outside the Hotel/20mins away from attraction(of course if there's traffic more than that) Friendly/helpful staff Rooms were perfect for what we needed This was my first time in London and i will be back to the Peckham Lodge
The hotel's convenience and competitive rates.
My wife had to provide ID. Why was this when we are both British by birth and residency. Our double bed was to close to the window and window for me to gain access in the usual manner.
Very good breakfast and very clean room.
We had to reprogram the card of the door each time we go out....
The hotel was clean and modern, the bathroom was spotlessly tiled and very clean. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from Peckham Rye station and this is the best way to get into Central London.
The bed was awful and the quality of sleep was quite poor. It was OK for one night but for any more I wouldn't be happy!! The location isn't ideal for central London visits but for the price I can just about forgive this!
Just the location
Most things bed bath shower all dirty on arrival no cot for my 5 months old child. She had to share bed with us and not convenient at all
room was cold
Bed is too hard made my back hurt and other customer making too much noise n fire alarm going off
The room was surprisingly nice. And the staff was very helpful in getting around.
Very thin walls, could hear everyone around me. Be warned, the location is pretty far from the action and Peckham isn't exactly the nicest of areas.
