Lincoln’s bars, tearooms and restaurants are within 200 metres of the apartment. The Theatre Royal is just a 10-minute journey away on foot. Lincoln Central Rail Station can be reached after 15 minutes’ walk. Free Wi-Fi access, an LCD TV and a hairdryer are provided in each spacious bedroom at Pemberton House. There is also a shower in the private bathroom. A polished wooden dining table and a grandfather clock feature in the dining room. A microwave is provided in the fully-fitted kitchen. Location right in the heart of the old town centre. The slightly misleading (or perhaps very cleverly worded) advertisement which drew me to the place. No where did it state I would be sharing the facilities (especially a very small shower room and toilet) with four other rooms.That was an unwelcome surprise. I have looked very carefully at the advert again and the use of the words 'private' and 'apartment' have been stretched to their limits I would say. The heating was turned off at night and the television was muted so I could not hear it.
