It's cheap (for London) Location
Bathroom outside the room No wi-fi in the room Poor sound insulation Not sufficient number of power outlets Too small TV TV wall bracket you can easily bump your head at Single bed substandard size (width 90 cm) No laguage room in the hotel Bedroom out of renovation cycle
It was cheap!
Not very clean. Towels were dirty. Didn't want to shower!
I only liked the area and the location. Breakfast was also good and varied
The room was too small and the beds were uncomfortable. We paid far more than it deserved
Location and ability to park outside overnight
The budget room was small, the TV didn't work, to get water for the kettle I had to go to my 'bathroom' which waa up two flights of stairs !!!! and which has just a loo and basin but no bath or shower!!!
Location to Hyde Park and tube was great.
Slightly dated decor, especially dining room.
I had the bathroom separated from the room, but also the toilet and the shower were in different floors
Noisy and room amenities not clean
Helpful, hard working staff, clean but very small rooms...
The facilities were a bit worn and worse for wear and tear; need a good sprucing up
location staff breakfast
three beds in room
Friendly Staff Location Tube 5 mins away Price Breakfast was OK....but ---> Didn't use Hotel wifi as I brought my own so can't comment on it. Would I stay here again, YES
Slightly noisy outside Repetitive Breakfast Room was extremely small, had to go down stairs for shower & toilet.
I called the front desk several times but the staff didn't pick up the phone. My friend went downstairs to see if there's any staff available. He found out that the hotel staff was hanging out outside, although he could obviously hear the phone ringing. Also, I took a lift with the same staff and he pushed us and got out of the lift although he knew we're getting out in the same floor (we headed down to the ground floor). No manner/ customer service or whatsoever. The staff was a young south asian guy.
Damp smell in the room
You can use Wifi only lobby room
I lived in a single room which was very small. In bed found long hairs
The location is very nice and near to the tube station. Breakfast is oke
No WiFi connection on the rooms (2d floor) For internet we had to go to the lobby.
Fantastic location for Notting Hill carnival. Brilliant value for money, location, breakfast and comfort. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, would definitely return.
I don't like at all
Only the location
Everything other than location
location, five miutes from Bayswater tube and ten minutes from Kensington palace Staff were generally nice though. not sure we will bother here again
dirty room aged room damp and cold room poor breakfast at under £100 for a quad room in Notting hill, I cant complain at the price. the room however was a dive. In the basement with a view of a wall and with paint bubbling off the ceiling presumably through damp coming in. I usually like my hotel rooms to have wall to wall carpet rather than a split down the middle and it receding from the walls (escaping the damp perhaps). breakfast was bundled and claimed to be continental, not sure which continent it was from but not from any ive visited.
The location and the price are good.
The staff is not very receptive and the room is small.
The excellent location, pleasant staff and good value accommodation for the price paid. It is not the fault of the staff that the rooms and bathrooms were small, and the reception and breakfast areas were regularly crowded, and I think they did a super job in these circumstances. The breakfast items were promptly replenished and tea and coffee was always available at breakfast.
Wifi limited to the reception area and as a result, the area was always congested. Breakfast area was crowded even when we reserved our slot. We arrived earlier than check in time and there was no luggage storage facility available and the reception couldn' t accept responsibility for it so we had to stay close to it. As there was no seating available, we had to leave some of our party there standing to keep an eye on our luggage. The very hardworking, solo reception individual was polite but the rooms were not available. As soon as they were, he let us check in. The rooms as in most London hotels of this rating were quite small.
We stayed in the quadruple room in the basement. Heating was not working. No ventilation. Only a bed cover was available instead of a duvet which is quite essential at this time of the year. Room was not clean. Carpets were full of dust. No free wifi in the room. Peeling of the soffit made our sleep very uncomfortable. Bathroom was not upto the basic standard.
The position was fine .no noise from the street
The lack of a bar, and the steps into the hotel as I am disabled.
Location good very handy to undergrounds. A good choice to any body wanting to explore the capital.
Breakfast a little cramped and a very limited choice a little disappointing.
I didn't like the fact room service was not helpful at all also I ordered some food from a takeaway as kitchen was shut and they refused to go get me a fork And said they didn't know how I was gonna eat my food which I then couldn't eat due to no fork. They also refused To turn the heating on for me.
