The location of the Hotel is good. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is basic but still good value for money. Very accessible to public transport and halal restaurants.
The size of the family room is too small.
putting beds in a mezzanine where there is no headroom does not constitute a family room. Cramped uncomfortable and disappointing.
Clean, reasonably priced, warm, good breakfast, helpful staff
T.v didn't work. Sink was cracked
Really good location, nice quiet and central area. Very nice continental breakfast included every morning Very good value for money
My room reeked of smoke on arrival, despite the fact the window had been opened as far as possible. The soft furnishings also smelled of stale smoke. The friends I was staying with had the same problem and were later moved, I was told there was no room available for me at the equal value to the one I had booked. I had to sleep with my scarf over my nose and mouth the first night, and on the floor of my friends room the second night.
Situation of the hotel
I asked for a room with nice view and they gave me the panic room. The smallest room i have ever seen with view to a wall. Thank you very much.... :(
Cleanliness. Quiet room. Good en suite bathroom. Much better choice at breakfast than I expected. warm
Things not working - kettle in room, bedside light, vending machine in reception. Carpets rather worn.
Lots of shops for food and other necessities in the near vicinity. Close to 2 underground lines makes moving around london very easy. Breakfast provided. Wi-Fi at the lobby was good.
Really small room. Not enough space for 3 people.
Bathroom was a little tight
early check in allowed great position economical good breakfast great shower
cleanliness good location value for money tea making in room
cheap tea and coffee! small dining room (some people were having to stand around waiting until a table became free)
Service was prompt and friendly Location was great for paddington, bayswater tube, portobella market and shops Great that 5 of us could stay in same room Great value and good breakast included. Also we were able to leave our cases in the foyer before we entered our room and after checking out to allow us to be suitcase free while out and about.
The high ceiling room had been adapted to include a mezzanine floor with two beds. Great for children, not great for adults as cant stand upright upstairs. Poor thin pillows and only 1 pillow per bed and poor well washed hard towel and only x1 miniature shower gel and soap.We justified it with the comparatively low cost of the hotel.
Comfort of bed was excellent Lovely location
Very cold at night as windows are authentic (nice touch but still chilly!) Blankets had hairs on them from past people who has stayed Breakfast was a bit lacking, wasn't continential.
The very small room The very small bathroom The separate bathroom the double door entry to the room the old and small TV that was difficult to operate. The heating that did not work The crowded dining room Having to stand in a long line for breakfast
the rooms are very small and noisy, I was not even able to open my luggage Bag. The Pictures on the web give a false impression. No value for money at all.
Room was split in three parts: room itself (just enough room for me standing, my suitcase and the bed), WC and shower, on three different levels. The site said private shower and, yes, it was private in the sense that they belonged to my room, but hardly what you would expect! Breakfast: coffee and juice were undrinkable. Heater and TV could only work alternately: only one plug for the two of them (plus a bit of naked wire).
Clean room Basic breakfast Lifts! Amazing shower... Ladies will find it Orgasmic!
Room had just been painted so woke with a headache both days. Walls thin., didn't help having inconsiderate Americans staying next door getting drunk till 4am and thinking they the only ones in the hotel.
Quiet street, handy for Bayswater shops and restaurants
Very tired furniture, decor, and the lift feels like it's about the pack-in, beds a little uncomfortable,
Location, room, staff, breakfast.
Matrass size and comfort was ok but blankets and quilt were heavy and uncomfortable. When is the UK ready for light comfortable downs like in Germany...? Respons to requests and info was zero...
location is quite good, because of near park with lot of activities
Size of room was OK for small family, but almost all in it wasn't. Bed sheets with multiple hair on it, peeling walls with holes, urine smell in bathroom, worn bed covers from start of 19th century, squeaking floor and beds.
Hôtel bien situé Bonne literie
Chambre trop petite
Poor breakfast WiFi only at the lobby, too slow
Fun and helpful hotel staff on front desk, house keeping and basement breakfast cafe.
can not complain about the size of the room consider the price they are charing for a city like London. However, a not so worn out matress and duvet instead of thin wool blankets will make my total stay of 5 nights more wonderful.
