Virtually nothing, apart from checking out. Honest. The worst London hotel I've stayed at. Definitely the smallest cramped room, not even a bedside table on one side of the bed (no room). Half a net curtain at the window. If you opened one of the small wardrobe doors, you couldn't get round the bed. Bare minimum of bathroom hospitality. Very poor lighting in a dark room. Canteen (can't call it restaurant) never had enough boiled eggs/toast/etc and staff never spoke, ("Good morning" would have been nice). Mad scramble when toast/eggs/etc appeared. Hotel (?) without a bar, no ice etc available. More like a hostel for back packers but with West End prices. My wife and I actually couldn't wait to leave and felt that we had been "ripped off".

Clean and tidy hotel and the location is very important to me. The breakfast/restaurant setup was a bit awkward as it appears that the hotel was fully booked and it was always very busy going through tables/people to get some items from the breakfast bar. Probably because it was the bank holiday weekend.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. There are two Tube stations at 5 minutes walking from it, and you are in 10 minutes in the centre of London. The hotel is actually reconstructed appartment building with high ceiling. It was very cold because heating was very weak and there were no air condition. Breakfast was below any expectation. There were only muesli, milk, and cheese, without any kind of meat or ham.

Comfortable beds, warm room, plenty of hot water. Good value for money as the price included breakfast. Fine for a couple of days in the city and well located. Could do with a wash and brush up. Looking a bit like the old lady she is.

Our room was cleaned daily which was really nice. we could hear our neighbours next door. Also people passing our room, coz floor was making a creeky sound. Fire alarm woke us up many times. I ve asked at a reception what was going on and he said that there s someone smoking in a room and there is nothing they can do until they havent found that person. I was staying for 7 nights and it was happenning every day! Sometimes 7.00 am! Ridiculous

The room was a twin one however , it was very small, just space for the beds and nothing else. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. There is no wi fi , the breakfast was good although I didn't really have time to eat it, I was busy visiting London.

Location is perfect. Clean. Quiet. Stuff is friendly and effective. Facilities are good. Extreme lack of space in the room and bathroom. Is not so vital if you come to the hotel only to sleep. But the problem still exists. Breakfast - enough not be hungry but very routine and does not vary at all. Access to the table is not convenient. Therefore queues were very frequent. Stuff was not always fast enough to add more products on the table. Therefore people had to wait.

Good value for money. Hotel and rooms clean and tidy Too many young (probably school) parties which were not properly supervised and children were running and shouting in corridors late at night. On second night hotel staff took a firm hand and controlled them better

It's not an luxury place at all but if you prefer to save money this has been a very confortable place to me. My room (an individual one) had 2 windows to the street. The bathroom was privative even altough it was out of the room but every day cleaned. I would come back to this place if opportunity. Perhaps a lot of noise in the afternoon because so many young people making fun.

Not nice, noisy and the rooms too small Amongst other things,I clearly stated upon booking that I required a tween room with two separate beds, which was not provided in the first place! Then we were accommodated in the basement which was not comfortable at all,not to mention the continuous noise coming from the thin walls and doors slams during all night!

location is excellent for getting around using the underground. loved the ethnic aspect of the area. lots of people about in the evenings. bike hire in the immediate area. great spot for a cost effective stay in a very expensive city. very accessible to kensington park, hyde park. also very good location for transferring to the central line and onward to heatherow airport. this is a warren of a hotel like many in the area. due to this the hall way, elevators and rooms are very small. also noise can be a factor on the weekends as groups of young travellers tend to stay in the hotel. ask for a room on the top floor overlooking the area and away from the elevator if you want to have the quietest rooms.

The room had 5 beds! And an upstairs! Wow!!!! :D Staff was friendly Ease of access If I have to say, the one thing was the size of upstairs. It was tiny! I almost banged my head as its that low. Preferably for children under 5!!!!

Very well located within walking distance from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park, the Royal Alberty Hall, the Exhibition Road. Queensway and Bayswater Road offer a large range of restaurants, supermarkets open late at night. The Central Line is very convenient to go to the theatres or to reach the Shopping area of Oxford Street. The hotel itself is quiet and the breakfast facilities are fine. I liked the unformal atmosphere of mixing people of all ages and all countries. The basic single room with a separate private bathroom is ok. I spent 5 nights there. What was a bit of concern was the number of heating appliances in one small room. I wonder if the electrical system is up to the standards. There is strong emphasis on the fire alarm. When booking the hotel it would be beter to have the complete address that is 55 Prince's Place rather than going around and missing the place.

“Bayswater is such a convenient area for so many things to visit, we thought that the suites were very good value for money. However we would especially like to comment on the reception staff. A lady and a young man ( the lady was on duty when we arrived on Thursday and both were on duty on Saturday afternoon when we returned to pick up our cases. They couldn't have been MORE HELPFUL and we were very impressed with the service. facilities in the suite were much more than we expected.” Anne, Dymchurch |
