The location and proximity to the centre of London was very good, and the price for a central London hotel was very reasonable, but unfortunately the price was reflected in the services and comfort of the hotel. We had to ask 3 times for extra pillows, the breakfast was a bit of a free for all, and the room was extremely basic; but to be fair it did what it said on the tin and was adequate for our needs (although more hot water from the shower would be helpful!) |

It was quiet, included breakfast. I saw room 317, the room was really warm and nice. But I lived in room 116((( The room was really cold, small, and bathroom was on the another floor. That was very uncomfortable. It was terrible to sleep in such room and take a shower in that bathroom. In addition, it is very difficult to wash even hands in the bathroom. |

Staff were friendly and the rooms although old, were clean. We left our bags with reception the day we checked out along with few others, they were just left in the main part of reception where anyone could have tampered or even taken our bags. |

Entrance attractive, staff very pleasant and helpfull, breakfeast nice, good location to buses and underground. Very awkward not having an out-side line to dial on the phone in our room. Not convient or comfortable to use the reception phone. Would like to have a plug in the bath. |

The location I expected an ensuite room but had to climb three flights of stairs to visit the toilets and two for the bathroom. I was misled about the type of room to expect. The television did not work and when I tried to put my suit in the wardrobe it collapsed on me. Though the price was low I do not think I would have made the booking had I known these things. |

I like its location, near the Paddington railway station and 2 underground stations. Nearby there are lots of shopping and food facilities. I don't like old furniture in the room. One of 2 elevators was broken or didn't work every morning, so it makes crowd in other one. |

Receptionist reasonably helpful. Breakfast included in price. For the first time in my life I literally got no sleep all night. The room was right on a busy road with thin rattly windows, no sound proofing, no en suite and a 1" gap under the door. Not my traditional view of a three star hotel. It was my fault however. I hadn't booked a room this cheap for some years and had forgotten just how awful they are at this price. The hotel is probably no worse than others at this price range |

The hotel was average, but OK. Clean room, breakfast OK, good value, simply you get what you pay for. Unbelievably small sink in the bathroom, so small it was not possible to use it at all, you could not fit your hands under the taps! So i had to wash my hands in the shower! |

I liked the fact that I left. Close to Bayswater tube was the only plus. This is nowhere near a 3* hotel. Torn carpets, stained walls, loose electrics hanging out of walls and many other faults. |

I read a lot of bad reviews before I went so I wasn't expecting much, but it is a very good hotel for the money they charge. Londen is never cheap. The hotel was friendly, not social, but always hello and goodnight. It is in a superb location, breakfast again very good for it's money and although the room was small, it was clean and for me that is the most important. |

the reduced price, and the fact it was only a few minutes away from a tube station. the bottom sheet on the bed was not clean, and the room smelt like moth balls. the tv did not work properly, and when i tried to pull in my laptop, the plug socket made a sizzling noise, and gave me an electric shock. |

it was an ok hotel for the price, everything was simple. A good place for a one night sleep The tv was very old and had a very poor signal. You pay for internet, so its not a good place for entertainment. No coffe/tea making facilities in the room |

the hotel is easy to find, and has a relaxed atmosphere.its value for money.we recommended the hotel to friends. the rooms are clean but not big but for £50 for two people its worth it.the staff where helpful we ended up boking another nights stay with the hotel staff.we would go back and stay at the hotel again.the hotel is close to oxford road an has easy access to bus routes and tube station to travel around. local pubs and lots of choice for eating out close by. the continental breakfast needs more choice and needs to be better organised by staff. |
