Location to Hyde Park and tube was great.
Slightly dated decor, especially dining room.
I had the bathroom separated from the room, but also the toilet and the shower were in different floors
Noisy and room amenities not clean
Helpful, hard working staff, clean but very small rooms...
The facilities were a bit worn and worse for wear and tear; need a good sprucing up
location staff breakfast
three beds in room
Friendly Staff Location Tube 5 mins away Price Breakfast was OK....but ---> Didn't use Hotel wifi as I brought my own so can't comment on it. Would I stay here again, YES
Slightly noisy outside Repetitive Breakfast Room was extremely small, had to go down stairs for shower & toilet.
Damp smell in the room
You can use Wifi only lobby room
The location is very nice and near to the tube station. Breakfast is oke
No WiFi connection on the rooms (2d floor) For internet we had to go to the lobby.
Fantastic location for Notting Hill carnival. Brilliant value for money, location, breakfast and comfort. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, would definitely return.
I don't like at all
Only the location
Everything other than location
The location and the price are good.
The staff is not very receptive and the room is small.
The excellent location, pleasant staff and good value accommodation for the price paid. It is not the fault of the staff that the rooms and bathrooms were small, and the reception and breakfast areas were regularly crowded, and I think they did a super job in these circumstances. The breakfast items were promptly replenished and tea and coffee was always available at breakfast.
Wifi limited to the reception area and as a result, the area was always congested. Breakfast area was crowded even when we reserved our slot. We arrived earlier than check in time and there was no luggage storage facility available and the reception couldn' t accept responsibility for it so we had to stay close to it. As there was no seating available, we had to leave some of our party there standing to keep an eye on our luggage. The very hardworking, solo reception individual was polite but the rooms were not available. As soon as they were, he let us check in. The rooms as in most London hotels of this rating were quite small.
We stayed in the quadruple room in the basement. Heating was not working. No ventilation. Only a bed cover was available instead of a duvet which is quite essential at this time of the year. Room was not clean. Carpets were full of dust. No free wifi in the room. Peeling of the soffit made our sleep very uncomfortable. Bathroom was not upto the basic standard.
The position was fine .no noise from the street
The lack of a bar, and the steps into the hotel as I am disabled.
Location good very handy to undergrounds. A good choice to any body wanting to explore the capital.
Breakfast a little cramped and a very limited choice a little disappointing.
I didn't like the fact room service was not helpful at all also I ordered some food from a takeaway as kitchen was shut and they refused to go get me a fork And said they didn't know how I was gonna eat my food which I then couldn't eat due to no fork. They also refused To turn the heating on for me.
Excellent location, transport links nearby, quiet, patio area, clean, loads of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Reasonable breakfast included with good strong coffee.
Orange juice at breakfast - pay a touch more and get concentrated real juice.
Good location for Notting Hill Carnival. Also good value for money
Room was suppose to sleep 4 and there was just about room for the 3 of us! The room was way too small. Breakfast was disappointed. Not a lot of choice and the scrabbled eggs looked like slop.
The staff at the reception were nice and polite. The location is very good. Very close to Bayswater and Queensway. A variety of restaurants and shops.
I dunno whether it was just our room or not but the shower was broken. The bedding and pillows were in a bad state. Couldn't sleep at all.
Location perfect for Notting hill carnival. Room was suitable for our 1 night stay.
The shower wasn't great. Room quite small. Advice from friends was avoid basement as can be noisy in the morning.
On arrival the hotel staff were pleasant. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hotel was in a good location for notting hill and tube station.
After check in we had to find our own room which was in the basement. The room was tiny and obviously under the lobby so it was very noisy. The power plug wasn't working so had to wait until the next day for it to be fixed. There was never hot water just tepid water so showering wasn't too pleasant.
Wifi is only in the crowded and noisy lobby. Clearly not a choice for a business traveler.
Breakfast - great choice Lift Friendly Staff
