good position, not far from metro station, quiet area, room was ok for 1-2 nights
No plugs for electricity No internet in the room, only in the lobby No luggage room
Breakfast was great. Good money value. Fresh facilities
Would like free wifi in the rooms aswell. Would be nice to be able to lock your bags in somewhere before check-in and after check-out.
a nice safe location close to tube with a nice clean room with a comfortable bed, good breakfast even though it remained unchanged during three mornings. however, u can still choose a different option every day (eg one day sweet toasts, the other salty, the third oatmeal)
no internet in the room, just lobby. be ready for thin walls-typical in the UK. but beds are so comfortable that if you make yourself tired, you should sleep without any issues
Receptionist who called me at 4:15 AM to wake me up, because I had asked him for that which was not true. I was livid (especially when considering I arrived in the hotel at 2 AM). Room was extremely small and not exactly the cleanest I have ever seen. Furniture and equipment in the room from 60s or 70s. The room was not heated until my arrival.
Clean, well located
Television didn't work. I reported the problem early evening but it wasn't rectified before I left the next morning
the room was very nice, the staff super friendly (the remote control of our tv was missing after the cleaning, after looking for other controls, the receptionist even offered us to change rooms when he couldn't replace it), the breakfast was very good.
no wifi in the rooms...
Location, shower, beakfast included
It was cold. Thin blanket no duvet, single glass windows
The room we stayed was 219 with twin bed, it doesn't have the most modern decor, but was sparkling clean. We had nice bath tub and the shower was excellent. Room was nice and warm with the heater on. The staff were very friendly, willing to listen and very understanding as well. There were enough hangers for us to hang all the clothes for an important day. The view was quite nice as well. So glad we were not put off by the negative reviews! I told my partner I'm so gonna write a review of my own experience so people would know how nice it was, especially when we think about the price performance!
We didn't expect a super spacious room as it's not 5* anyway but it's still fair to say there was space just enough for one big luggage and two backpacks. The wall was not sound-proof, so it was quite noisy until midnight. I could hear people walking in the corridor. DP was lucky though as he slept with ear plugs in!
Close to the tube
There was a mouse in our room!! The staff was very rude when my girlfriend complained about the mouse they said "we can't kill every mouse in London". They simply sent us to another room and didn't even bother apologising. The breakfast was very simple. DO NOT STAY THERE!
Nice position and good price per value in an expensive city like London.
No Wifi in 2nd floor's rooms, pretty hold structure
The hotel is good regarding the following: location, price, quality of breakfast is very good. Had issue starting the tv and the staff was very quick resolving this. showers are very nice, warm and strong like massage :) ...
The quality of the linen and bedding, the duvet cover is very old and rough, you could spend some money renewing the covers, it gives better feeling. the rooms are a bit small, but considering the price paid, it is perfect..
- location - breakfast - nice bathroom - very nice personal
- wifi only in reception - very small rooms (it is not big enough for 3 people)
Breakfast, rooms are decadent bathrooms are tiny not even a tap to fill the bath. I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and found myself in a room with only 3 beds and had to sleep for all the holiday with my 7 year old son in a single bed.
The stability of the WIFI was very low. Only in the middle of the night when all children an teenagers were asleep, was the wifi functioning ok. It was only in the lobby we could use wifi.
The location was great and access into the hotel late at night was fine as the reception desk was manned. Both the room and the bathroom were clean.
The room was small and the bathroom was seperate but the cost of the room made up for this.
The location is decent, 5 minutes walk to Bayswater underground station.
Free wifi is ONLY available in the ground floor, which causes loads of problems when it comes to surfing the internet. Upstairs of the family room which I've been in was short in height (about 160cm or so) Breakfast choices are only bread with jams, cereal and scrambled eggs.
Room was warm and well equipped. Breakfast was very good continental. Excellent price and location.
Receptionist was unfriendly. Areas such as light switch, tiles in bathroom, skirting board etc were not clean. TV only gave one channel!
located in an inner street so it doesn't have much noise at night. it's a nice area for hotel but it's not a good hotel.
we book the hotel room with a discount so it's fine but it's definitely not worth the original price: very small room. facilities are old. breakfast is included but choice are very limited and quality is poor. the diner is in the basement. what i find particularly poor is that when we arrive we saw a notice saying: your luggage your responsibility. I think this is extremely irresponsible. it's "YOUR business and YOUR guests", how can that be just MY responsibility!!!
It's a small hotel, the WiFi is not available in the room,so people have to bring their phone and iPad to the lobby，the location is good，it will take 6 mins walk to the nearest tube.
WiFi is not available in the room!!!!
The hotel is very well located, next the two underground stations - Bayswater and Queensway. It's easy to reach the main places to visit (5 kms by walk via the parks or with the tube in 30 minutes).
The breakfast should be improved - it's a "continental" poorly served. I would prefer an english breakfast and a buffet with more suggestions.. There is no save room to leave the luggages, but the staff keeps an eye on it in the lobby ;)
only WiFi in the loby
The bed sheets where very old and dirty. The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. On Arivel we were greted with a. Grunt and a man texting we waited while he finished his text to be served we have to find our own booking amongst a number of papers. We got one room key not two even though two of us where in the room. The room was as basic as they come. Plugs hardly worked had a wiggle them about to get them to work. Cracks in the bedroom windows. In the evening we went down stairs to get a hot choclate from the small machine. It swallowed our money and didn't work. We then tried the vending machine and the same things happened. The room was SO small yo cous hardly walk round the side of the bed. I couldn't behoove how small the room was. I'm 20 years old and not hard to please I'm no fussy when it comes to hotels. And if it was cheap I would have excepted all of this but seeing as I paid £110 for one night I was not at all impressed for the service I reicived. Would not recommend to anyone.
The fact it was so close to Central London. Location itself looked top class. Shopping centre very close.
Maybe more milk for tea/coffee in rooms. Sockets were in a awakward place. It was hot in the rooms to. Could hear the neighbours talking clearly.! An English breakfast would have been nice to.
The location was ok
The room was really small and congested. As i was new to London hotels, maybe that is the standard there. Its hard to even move and place my luggage in the room due to size.
