Breakfast was superb, continental with a touch of class and very attentive staff. Room was pure comfort and extremely clean. The smellies provided we're gorgeous! The gardens were amazing we only wish we had more time to chill out in the sunshine rather than fulfilling other commitments. Not really a negative remark as we knew before we arrived but a shame the superior room did not have a bath to luxuriate in.

Friendly staff, always helpfull and caring. Large room, excellent bed, fantastic bathroom. Wonderful breakfast and good transporting services to Oxford. However, if you prefer walking there is a really nice 40 min walk along the river Thames right into Oxford following the thow-path. Really nice tranquile walk surrounded by great scenery. I really had to think hard trying to find something I didn't like. I didn't...

A real gem! Excellent accommodation, clean, modern and very comfortable. Excellent location bus for the city stops outside or you can walk into the city...a long walk but beautiful scenery on a nice day. Claire is a wonderful host, very helpful and knowledgable. Must also mention Clive who is also a good cook! Terrific selection for breakfast and nothing is too much trouble sorry we couldn't stay longer. Thanks to both of you for a wonderful stay.

The B&B is split over two houses and is beautifully appointed and clean. The owners live just opposite, are perfect hosts from checking your personal dietary requirements for breakfast to making recommendations of local places to see and eat. The house is about a 3 mile walk (along the Thames) into Oxford, which was delightful in the spring sunshine, while watching various boat races. There is also an excellent and frequent bus service from outside the property. The comprehensive 'continental' style breakfast was plentiful and delicious and prepared in front of your eyes, as you sit in the kitchen, which opens out into the garden.

Extremely friendly and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing our (tasty) breakfast being prepared in the kitchen while we chatted with Clare. Warmly informal. There was a mix-up over the booking so that there was noone to greet us - Claire does not live on the premises. Fortunately other guests let us in and Claire's partner, Clive, arrived with food for the morning and from then on everything went smoothly. There was genuine concern and we felt quickly reassured. Make sure you confirm time of arrival by e-mail with as much notice as possible.

The lovely owner who went out of her way to show us where to go in Oxford to make the most of our brief weekend visit. Also loved the breakfast, have to say I wasn't expecting too much of the "continental breakfast" but it was a very pleasant surprise and we all loved it.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. They made every effort to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. The breakfasts were excellent. As with most B&Bs, one is aware of other residents moving around at times.
