I like the location because it is easy to get to the city
clea n rooms. Friendly staff.
rooms are very small. Bed unco mfortable.
The bathroom was new and the guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
Bed was very uncomfortable, could feel the springs; and my room was near either a water pump or the lift mechanism which turned on and off and was very loud all night. The area is also a bit rough.
Breakfast was rubbish, self service cereal with a toasting maching wasnt my idea of a decent breakfast for the price.
Very very clean, and totally comfortable for business use.
Was happy really. I wouldn't want to stay for a holiday, but for business, I was happy with the hotel
Being allocated a room in a shabby building which had unsavoury odours, sub-standard levels of cleanliness, and when informed reception that there was no hot water being told to try turning the cold tap on as this may be hot, which it wasn't, my partner and I had to wait for a room to be cleaned in another block so we could use the shower in there
Friendly service and good car park
Room next to main road very noisey
very nice clean and friendly
very very small bathroom area
nice location, near underground station, clean place,
thin walls, noise from frequent road nearby, boiler making buzzing noise all night long, small room, small bathroom
Location Cleanliness Helpful staff Transportation means (tube & buses)
Poor choices for breakfast Loud noises from doors banging Shower head not flexible Poor wi-fi connection
Bed were poor quality. Pillow terrible and only 1. Smashed your leg on the table when you got out of bed. Unable to sit on the toilet due to basin being too close. Hot shower has no cold water.
The room was clean and there was no street noise. The beds were quite comfortable, although one creaked a lot. The shower worked!
Lots of door banging and loud conversations up to about 1.00am - not great sound-proofing. Other guests not considerate in the way they moved around the corridors. Breakfast didn't really accommodate vegetarians very well.
Close to public transport.
Breakfast (plastic glasses), cramped bathroom, basement room, rough area, no internet in room, tv inoperable.
Location was good, food was fair,
Very noisy at night, constant noise from what we think was from washing bedding, room was right next to the lift which was very loud in operation,
While the hotel wasn't fancy, it was clean and the staff was friendly.
While the bathroom was clean, it had a funny smell to it. We could also hear a sound like a pump motor running off and on.
The Hotel location is strategic for easy movement by bus, train or tube. Its nearness to a medium commercial area is good for shopping and its front view provides a beautiful relaxation sit-out for the hotel guests to watch activities in the Park.
Self served breakfast.
Internet confined to the lobby area only.
If you're looking for a quick stay on a budget and you're not concerned about it being fancy - this is the place for you.
Whilst the room was very very small, you get what you pay for so can't complain.
Good, clean room with comfy bed allowing for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The cafe was a bonus.
Wifi was poor in the room and hard to connect to.
So cheap. So close to the tube and the wow-factor Indian/Arab World dining and shopping of Finsbury Park. Clean, modern - the breakfast was good for low-carb and gluten-free people (ham) and I happily bought a tomato and bononccini salad very cheaply to top up.
Okay. So you can't drink the water in the room, but there is nowhere else on the floor to get water. And London is hot. The waitress working in the cafe at breakfast said 'What?' when I asked her about the menu. Not great. She also failed to clear two dirty ashtrays from my table. The blaring rock videos at breakfast on the big screen were for her benefit, not ours. Many travellers have jet lag; be sensitive. Apart from that, this could be my dream £50-and-under stay in London. It was minutes to the city centre and I loved discovering Finsbury Park...bought a ton of costume jewellery there for £5 and incredible red glittery shoes for my goddaughter. Excellent charity shops and the little place I went to for lunch was just superb (a bowl of Pho and chicken and rice - low, low price and so delicious with outstanding service).
I was very happy with the arrangements, for the price of the room and how close it was situated to where I need to go it is an excellent hotel.
My only downside to my stay was the TV in my room, though through no fault to the staff the only problem was the sound. The sound kept dipping while I was watching TV. This is my only fault to a fantastic stay.
Relaxing atmosphere and everybody was so pleasant and helpful. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay a very pleasant one.
only complaint is;- "that there was no reading light over bed"
Mostly clean and tidy. Night staff very friendly.
Room small. Bed not fully put together properly. Noisy from traffic all night.
Booked on line and found it to be very good value for money. Car park is excellent and secure. Staff very friendly
